Similar to channels such as BuzzFeed, WatchCut, TheFineBros & GMM we focus on creating content that depicts people (usually Irish people) experiencing new things for the first time, whether that be food, drink or maybe a TV show! - Zábava
An IRISH person complaining that green should not be a food color is rather an odd statement.
Cause They are Protestant... They support the Orange side..
Nadia Mohamed Wow! Chillax... lol .. As an Irish woman... I was just making a joke :p
Nadia Mohamed All good, no worries... Peace! :-) :)
She was extra for that shit
Can confirm.. Me talking about the colour of the curry was nothing to do with my religious upbringing. (And most Irish people are Catholic not Protestant.. You're thinking of Northern Ireland)
I was literally just talking about the curry. It's a joke.
India: one of the few countries that can make decent and unique vegetarian dishes
Zoe Kirk That's the damn truth.
always welcome to India.....
And even vegan!
yup ....so true👍👍Proud to be an Indian
Few years ago all the population of india were vegetarians.... after when mughal came to india..they convert all the Hindu people to muslim and they introduce to eat meat
Lived my whole life in India...I have never seen samosa looking like that
This looks more similar to the samosas sold in Bangladesh.
That's a baked samosa varient introduced some 20 years back as healthy alternative to fried samosa.
like seriously what was that, even we have never tried that kinda wierd samosa.......
Yea bro same
That is not samsosa😂 thats paties
1. THATS NOT WHAT A SAMOSA LOOKS LIKE. NOT EVERYTHING TRIANGLE IS A SAMOSA.
2. YOU DONT EAT SAMOSA WITH MANGO CHUTNEY!?!?? WTF!?!?!
Chill
jaane de bhai....inhi jaise bhukkad street food pe marte hai jab India aate hai tab
@KIRTI RTN abe jhandu offended nahi dumbfounded hona bolte hain. Unki impression kitni kharab banegi indian food ki, aam ki chutni se samosa khila rahe hain
I know
these are sort of patty like stuffs..not samosas...
I'm so confused by their reactions. Kheer is literally one of the best foods on the planet!
They definitely got a bad batch or recipe; 100%. It's really sweet rice pudding. Might not be someone's favourite dessert but it never tastes horrible. They got scammed outta a bomb dessert LOL.
exactly....maybe it wasn't made by a proper indian restaurant
I dont like kheer either. The consistency and texture just dont work for me.
WHo the heck put yellow food coloring in Kheer? or is it burned?? Kheer suppose to be white and Rice suppose to be more mushy not that texture in the video!
It usually is white. I don't know why they added yellow colouring
We put rice in everything just like you put potatos in everything.
Debra Dias ..lol.. to the point.
😂
But rice is healthier than potatoes😄
Raja Shah .. yes.
Does 711 sell rice
You guys put potato (or aloo) in a lot of things too.
Whenever foreigners eat Indian food, only word heard is *spicy*
Just to let you know that this is our level zero of spiciness. We make stuff much a spicier than that.
Yeah dude...this food is for those who hate spice
Yh, if they think this is spicy, they haven't tried my mums fish curry 😂😂😂 they will pass out from licking it
THE ALL ROUNDER Cool Man. Yeah they haven’t had my mums mushroom masala!
Nice one jayanth 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@Harold Jenkins Nah, i meant passing out because of how spicy it is xD
0:30 that guy caught his shoe and ate samosa with the same hand😣😣😣😐
You should not touch shoes bro before eating!
Jay Pat. Cuz we have homeless people. And, we don’t take shits in the open. Each time you see india on the internet they show the LEAST good looking villages and places. So jay, shut the hell up.
@Jay Pat study hard child. You are way more dumb than the world can tolerate.
Yeah. It's disgusting. You don't know what you might have stepped on earlier.
@Jay Pat y'all used to do that too it's just that your County or place is bit more developed than India rn 🤓
I mean that's not much of samosa either
I'm Indian and I can assure you, samosas aren't supposed to be made out of filo pastry... idk what you guys are eating :(:
K Aloo Patty
they can't even knead a decent dough, a simple flour-dough is all you need
K.. Samosha with mango chuttni... In india i never seen!!!
Aloo patties
kind of a croissant samosa hybrid? WTF
palak paneer is spicy for you?😶
Ikr😀😕
think when they will eat kdai paneer :P what will happen to dem :P
lol ikr.. palak paneer is the last in trems of spiciness in paneer sabjee.
Zoya Khazi I find it the least spicy out of all our food
Green is not a colour for food cause they like to have all the fruits mixed together to form a colour that looks worse than green...looks like they got diarrhea ....and aptly called smoothie
They are tasting worst versions of the best foods in the world.... 😂 😂 😂 😂
😂😂😂ryt
I grew up with my best friend's mom's cooking (indian family) and the Samosas were overcooked. Also, there are about 4 different versions with some having meat in them. They are a snack item and absolutely delicious. And they were tasting all the very mild versions of everything.
So true
Ok boomer
nailed it bro!
Interviewer : this is bisleri (brand of indian water)
Foriengner:ohh!!!..It's spicy
This joke old as af
Good one🤣🤣 they say is it masala water
Who makes samosas with filo dough? Not real Indians, that's who.
They're in Ireland, I would give them some slack LOL
there is real indian food in ireland too
lmao we do hahah
yeah and it doesn't invovle filo dough
No it's not.... That's like comparing a bagel to an english muffin. they taste different.
Everything is spicy to them 😂
Truly.....they dont eat spices how will they love Indian food.....
How would you know what "they" eat?
Bidisha Mukherjee i love parota and more indians food but not really spicy ihsve to get water and iam onky 11 but indians are great and even there food ;)
it's because in early settlement those spices never really grew there, so they had to reply on other spices
Betty Jones do you mean rely?????
Indian food is beautiful. It's like no other cuisine that I have ever tried.
I live in Houston and there are Indian restaurants all over the place, it's freaking awesome...but I don't know what they were serving in this video. Looks like they screwed up Indian food the same way they screw up American food.
Ok
Harold Jenkins cause you are not used to eating food 🥘 with taste. That’s what happens when you sit on your crouch all day with mineral water and salted potato chips
Couch*
Indian food is so vast. And samosa and pakoda are definitely not the true representatives. And no one does the spices flavor composition as does the Indian food.
That samosa was frozen one, it wasn't even real one.
Yes, Exactly.
It was pastry dough.
It doesn’t have to be a real one
@@Wraphh then they can’t say it trying samosa, that was not even a samosa, that was just some frozen white flour dough and potato filling.
@@Wraphh thats like carbonating coffee and packing it in a cola bottle and feeding it to people as if its real cola
Good to know they finally saved Barb from the upside down
You win.
Repost.
😂😂😂
Beautiful
LMAOOOO
As an Indian, a foodie and someone who likes to cook, let me break this video down for people who might be interested or confused.
1. Samosa isn't made from filo pastry. Usually, the shell is made from refined flour dough. Stuffing is spicy cooked potatoes. But you can add whatever you feel like, even meat of any kind. Never have I seen it had with mango chutney. usually, it's eaten with green chillies and mint or Tamarind chutney. But then it's food you can have it however you like, with whatever you like.
One interesting fact about Samosas. It is not originally Indian but Persian (Iranian) as is the jalebi (zoolbia) I was heartbroken when i found out. Now before my Indians attack me for the blasphemy . I'll just ask one thing, how long does something have to be in India to be Indian? i think 1000 years or so is good enough.
2 Onion pakodas or Onion fritters. The onions are dipped in a batter of gram flour (garbanzo bean flour), water and some spices. Think of them as Indian onion rings without the rings. The reason why the inside looks yellow is because of the colour of the flour, but also because the batter might have a pinch of turmeric (haldi). you can have it with ketchup, Green chillies, coriander and mint chutney or Tamarind chutney.
3. Palak paneer. what vegetable does cheese(paneer- cottage cheese) go best with? Spinach(palak). I've never had Palak paneer that's that spicy. But then maybe the Irish cant take heat. So it's weird that they were ok with the vindaloo which is a lot hotter.
4. Chicken Vindaloo comes from the region of India called Goa. Since it was a Portuguese colony, the Portuguese influence can be seen in the cuisine. Chicken Vindaloo is definitely one dish that has a big influence. And the Portuguese ingredient is Viniger.
The Chapati - unleavened flatbread look very unappetising. It's looks like a piece of cardboard. Chapatis should be thin and soft. Imagine holding a folded handkerchief that droops. I would definitely never have that. looked like a thick piece of cardboard.
5. Kheer (rice pudding) rice+milk+sugar+ cardamom and some dry fruits if you like. This one looks weird. It's yellow, may be because of saffron. if it's not saffron then something weird is going in there. nothing much to say about it. everyone knows what a rice pudding is supposed to look like.
Lastly, not that it matters anymore. Even though one might be a lefty you always eat with your right hand.
In India, the left hand is for wiping your bottom, cleaning your feet and other unsavoury functions (you also put on and take off your shoes with your left hand), while the right hand is for eating and religious purposes. in short, left hand is used for the "unclean" stuff and right for the clean stuff. So excuse us if some of us cringe while people eat with thier left hand.
Having said all that, food is food and it just as to taste good, there shouldn't be rigid rules. Eat whatever you are comfortable with.
Have a great day.
Holla to you, and samosas are also from Afghanistan too (sambosa) :)
Also Arab and north African. Too bad, the world recognises samosa as Indian. :P
North Indians, Persians afghan have a lot in common than we are aware of.
As a French and a foodie, I must say that baguette does not mean bread in French. It refers to the "baguette" shape of the bread. (ie elongated and rather thin) So saying baguette (shaped) bread is accurate. ;)
h4ppy3nd oh ok, thanks for the correction.
They should've had gulab jamun or at least kulfi. Anything instead of that weird kheer
It's quite funny watching their reactions. Having eaten Irish food, I always thought their food is VERY bland (as compared to say, Chinese food or Thai food). So, its not surprising that anything that's not bland seems to be overwhelming for these people.
Rishi J I’m Indian and it’s not like ur showing any respect either
@Rishi J I'm not Indian though, but I do love Indian food. Some of the tastiest food on this earth. Irish food is getting better today, my last trip there has proven that to me. They seem to be more adventurous with spices and seasoning now.
@Rishi I don't give a rats ass on your nationality but the way you are talking shows that you have some personal issues with indians. Stop venting your anger on indians by posting comments here, rather say these infront of a head strong indian and feel your ears get boxed. We indians take pride on what we are and who we are. In this video a bunch of Irish who themselves eat utterly bland and garbage food are in no position to comment on famous Indian dishes. And who told you that most indian food is unhealthy? Infact most indian food is vegetarian and they are damn healthy specially when compared to European or American food.
Opens pakora and sees turmeric... "that's not natural." lol
Yes, weird. I think they are annoyed that we Indians left the British peninsular empire.
🤣🤣 their natural is probably brown black coloured SODA...they r soon going to say... oh water is transparent....THATS NOT NATURAL 🤣
rice kheer should be pure white, but its yellow... what the hec they put in it ?
Ever heard of saffron?
+disinformatique you don't put that much saffron that it becomes orange almost, kheer and any paneer dish should not have the same color, either way the kheer was made poorly
It may even just be the lighting that makes everything look weird.
Bhai!!!!! Tumse na ho payega... #Dedrek #Derolix
Tamarind, if not Saffron?
I'm irish and i love Indian foods 😍😍😍😍
Jessica Mcdonagh lol
Vyshnavi Tanya what??? :0
I have Indian kabab in my pants 😀
Trey_God hey! If you love Indian food you should start a business that way you get to do what you love and never go hungry! Honest to God, I was just looking for a country where I could cook and sell Indian food and your comment just inspired me.
Well, thank u sir!!
R they really kidding, palak paneer is spicy ?!?! They were all just overreacting to every single dish the chef didn't know how to cook Indian food😑
@Harold Jenkins coz we eat alot of spice😹
Thats true i like ur comment😇😇
When indian say spicy they think food is hot burning which you get from chilli powder and chillies but when foreigners say spicy they mean overall spices used in dish , even if you don't add chilli powder they will feel dish is spicy because you used spices like turmuric ,garam masala , coriander powder etc
Omg I love Indian food, paneer is so so good! Can’t believe they thought it was spicy though, Ive always found it really mild.
Barb escaped from the upside down, fled to Ireland and got a job with Facts. Barb LIVES!
LOL right?! I can't wait to watch her spin off show ...
i was just about to say that lmao😂😂

I love the both of them!!! Good comparison man!!! 10/10

Isnt Paddy murphy the other guy the chubby one? Cuz he is called Paddy Murphy too
All the ladies give the thumbs up on this
what's the girl with the long red hair and glasses named?
Thank you! I think she's hilarious!
00:29 man u have no respect for the food
The guy in green t shirt touches his shoes and then eats the samosa ! Dude, improve ur habits before critisicing cuisines.
palak paneer is like the least spiciest food you could ever have..I wonder how you guys would react to some Hyderabadi dish..
Edit:- This is the most amount of likes I've ever had :O
they probably need a water tank To get over with the spices of Hyderabadi dishes.
My co-workers were Hyderabadi and the chicken biryani that one brought in is one of the best dishes I've tasted.
Limen biryani I'd the shit 😌👌
Justan Ed In India palak paneer made with less spices bcoz of Palak (Spinach), and if they are eating some spiced version of it than it is not palak paneer.
That wasn't even rightly made indian food!! The samosas were horrible.. making them in pastry dough? Really? And I'm pretty sure that they made the palak paneer now in the right way either.. And the kheer was horrible too.. Damn this channel should really had an Indian taste or at least get an opinion of the stuff!
WHEN WILL MY CURLY HAIRED SON COME BACK?? I MISS HIM!!!!
Nadia Mohamed YES!!! Do you know if he still works here or not?
Nadia Mohamed Ah okay, thank you so much :D
Nadia Mohamed That is VERY true lmao, I see you in every Facts video
Oh snap, that means I have a slim chance of running into him since I live in Berlin. :P

+Nadia Mohamed isn't paddy the stocky one?
Paddy's the grey hair guy! @PaddyJMurphy on Twitter! He's a really nice guy!!!
Nadia Mohamed oh wait i think they have the same name
From Twitter, I found his IMDB page. Lots of great pics, many with dark hair. I definitely prefer the grey, which works so beautifully with his eyes.
wash your hands before you eat bruh..you just touched your shoes :P
tyio Namester shoes are full of dirt and bacteria, so while eating if you touch them then those bacteria might travel through your hands to your stomach, and ultimately you may fall ill. That's the reason why people wash their hands before having a meal.
Bigfoot Valley he he he he ha ha ha ha,😂😂
well i cant see any big foot valley over here lol. why ?

"Indian food is 'literally' the food for 'the king's.' Not everybody has the guts to digest it. "
I'm Indian and that food looks like a shitty version of actual Indian food. Good on these people for still liking it.
Also, their accents are everything.
You are shitty.
It's restaurant style food, mate. It's not gonna be like the real thing. It's good, though.
Indian food can only be enjoyed in India .
Don't feel bad, I'm Mexican and they did the same to represent our food.
soneelita tell me.. why you said that?
She didn't said anything bad. That does looks like shit version of our food.

Sayonara!
Like white hair guy and green shirt guy, they were the most open and non-critical of the food. The others were a bit annoying.
So you don't like critical humor? You the type that can't laugh at himself?
No, we just find the people fucking annoying.
MauiWowieOwie and the two girls
what's white hair guys name? I like him the best
Everyone is annoying like respect the food and put your shoe back smfh
That food was nasty looking and when she called a Samosa a bahji I was like “I give up on life”
Shes fully stoopid, shes wrong throughout the whole video, and saying rice pudding looks like faeces. Her face is faeces.
Ohhh, I ENVY them!!! I LOOOVE Indian food! Palak paneer is my absolute fave!!! Pakoras and samosas are super yummy too! I haven't really tried the vindaloo or rice kheer, but if offered, I'd try it! Mmm nom nom nom!😋😋😋
They need to know the goodness of a Mango Lassi
BlackAndWhiteSilhouettes I love lassi. I'm not Indian but I just love indian food.
Well they ate mango chutney, that should count
And Mutter Paneer, and Dal Makhani, and Rasmali, and Mulligatawny Soup, and Shrimp Vindaloo, and Orange Kulfi. 😋😋😋😋

He has always been hot! Maybe even more so after he stopped dyeing his hair dark!
Put him in cosplay he'd make a good Soldier 76 from Overwatch.
DarkAndDandy he's definitely easy on the eyes
All of my family ( grandparents) came from Ireland . Thank goodness we learned to eat with spices .
I can eat the hottest dishes with ease. Then again my daughter wins hot wings contests with ease .. lol!
I’m really fortunate to have Indian food made fresh and from scratch . The spices are fresh ( fresh curry leaves in the garden and other herbs .
Bc I went vegetarian and eat this food -my health improved and I no longer have to take 2 meds I’ve been on and my blood sugar is PERFECT.
Dropped 30 lbs too.
Indian cabbage balls are awesome! As is Pani Puri, Paneer , a lentil dish with rice and curry or yogurt sauce and what is made of okra or eggplant is astonishing. What they can do with potatoes in mind blowing.
Omelettes ( Gujarati style ) will be the only one I’ll eat now .
Sorry but food in Ireland is bland . My grand father joined the military and fell in love with Asian cuisine. We had irish foods but the foods from other cultures were definitely a regular thing .
With bacon and cabbage ( or if corned beef is used instead ) -we are heavy handed with the pepper or adding the green tobasco vinegar .
Foods in India change vastly from region to region . Perhaps they should have tried other regions . I’ve met Indians who didn’t eat spicy. Some don’t eat garlic or onions either .
I can’t imagine bland food unless it’s for babies , young kids and old people with stomach issues.
I loved these people! They seemed so much more knowleglable than others and the variety of food they tried really represents all of the different flavours of India well.
curry triangles!?!?!?!?! as an indian that really made me laugh!! i love these guys and how so up for it they are
Indian food give me diarrhea..
Ray price it can do that if you eat food thats too hot for you to handle or stuff that has spinach in it
Vina Mistry I like spicy food.. but for some reason Indian food doesn't agreed with me
Ray price strange! haha i guess you'll have to decide whether indian food is worth it
Yeah, me too. Glad they enjoyed it. 😊
as an indian....none of those foods were cooked authentically or even how they are cooked in india...those were more of a westernized version of our dishes...wanna taste real indian food , u gotta visit our country!

?
They were missing so many of the wonderful Indian desserts. For example, gulab jamun: spongy milk balls served in rose water and cardamom syrup. Total heaven. Gajar Ka Halwa - is a carrot pudding that is brilliant after a spicy meal. There is also a mango halwa or yogurt that is beyond the best sorbet or ice creams.
Palak paneer spicy? Oh my god 😂
Irish people will find EVERYTHING spicy cuz all they eat is mashed potatoes.
Total bullshit.
@@stephengardiner9867 oh sorry mashed potatoes with fried potatoes. Now corrected. Are u happy now???
@Simply Actually, the introduction of the potato set up the Irish population to be ravaged by the famine. The potato was an introduced crop, meant to be a cheap food source. The famine was caused by a fungus blight that attacked that food source once it had become a staple (imagine the result of all of the rice suddenly dying in 18th century Japan).
@@priyankasinha7807 Still rather bigoted bullshit (and after TWO years no less)! Prior to the potato being introduced to Ireland by the English, the Irish diet would have been based on plants and grains. If you want to see a really shitty diet, check out what lower income North Americans eat.
have these people never had a rice pudding in their lives? kheer is basically the same thing. honestly, they seem to have the palate of four year olds that will only eat mcdonalds chicken nuggets and fries.
Your comment sounds like u do your bills with crayons
tbh I don't like rice kheer much, other types are more preferable for me
Exactly. 😂 These "adults" haven't grown out of eating kiddie food. They'll probably throw a tantrum if they were forced to eat vegetables for once.

STFU, if they don't like it they don't like it.
That vindaloo vindawho won my heart. Love from India.
From when palak paneer was spicy? I can't imagine how much sweet you eat.
what?
don't they have Indian restaurants in Ireland?
We do have Indian restaurants, they're just really shitty
They probably do, but there's a good possibility that many of them aren't very authentic, with the dishes being modified for a Western palate. We have that problem here in the States, a lot of cuisines will be "Americanized" (and in most cases rendered borderline inedible).
+sadly a human :/ that's a shame, Indian food is amazing when done properly
+ToastAndJellyfish we have a lot of Indian people in the UK and a good curry is regarded as a favourite dish, I must eat Indian cuisine at least once a week
Doom legion of ragnarok We've got plenty of immigrant and immigrant-descended populations here, as well, but that doesn't mean that you can get an authentic eating experience very often. It's easier if your city has a Chinatown or other cultural concentration, but many places don't. In America, they're really restricted to big cities, often coastal ones.
I haven't eaten Chinese, Japanese, Indian, or Thai food in several years, at least not unless I made it myself, because the town I was forced to move to has nothing but the watered down, Americanized versions of all of them. These are things that I ate on a weekly basis when I lived in a proper city.
"Bhaji! That's a bhaji!" "(It's not a bhaji)" I laughed so hard!
What even is bhaji?

Indian food is truly legendary. It’s like...beautiful art in one’s mouth. The flavors actually make you stop and think.
They need to try Paneer Makhani with either poori bread or a bathura, that has always been my favorite Indian dish and bread. Lime or lemon squash is a great drink to have with it.
It feels so weird to watch people get so amazed/shocked while eating Indian/Pakistani food when it's what you grew up eating

I have never had Indian style rice pudding, but I love everything else they had! Yum!
I have never consumed Irish food . What are top two iconic Irish dishes that can quintessentially capture the essence of Irish cusine.
I think they found it spicy because all Irish people eat is potatoes, like potato pies, potato custard, potatoes with potato sauce...
They enjoyed the food and yet you still have people in the comments complaining 😂
"my eyes are starting to water....but I'm not stopping."

Palak paneer is spicy for them really ??? then kadai paneer will blow their tongues !!!!!
GARG -TV Give them chicken chettinad or guntur chicken and they would be farting fire for a week ☺😂
They'll even find jalebi spicy
sometimes it depends on cook you know, restro can't control the heat everytime they can put extra chilly in anything. So may be that cooks fault because chicken vedello is the hottest recipe in india FYI, rest depends on the individual who make the dishes :)
Still tasty as all get out!😋😋😋

This looked like"Indian food" coming straight from the frozen food section of their local supermarket; manufactured in some food factory in the UK.
Make an video about indian eating Irish food. Then we will know that what the Irish food have.
Zelda shirt and futurama reference, I found my Irish best friend
They did better than I would have expected. I spent some time in Dublin and the food is more like comfort food, but no spice. I haven't been to India, but had an Indian roommate and a lady who was from Sri Lanka and they would make dishes and they were so much more spicy than in the restaurants.
Best Indian food I had was in Spain from an Indian family restaurant. Too spicy and I was in tears but it was so good. They really were/are the spice capital of the world. How does one come up with such sauces and spice mixes?
That 2nd dish goes extremely well with Beer. Infact, most alcohol. Facts needs to do a Video on that. Things that go well with Beer. Pappadums, Spied peanuts, Onion Pakodas etc etc.
Palak Paneer is one of the lest spicy indian dishes!
Nemisha Sharma, thanks, I will remember that. My British cousin married an Indian guy. Between them, they have a child who has inherited spice intolerance from their Irish grandfather (my uncle). It means he can't eat Indian dishes containing spices, lest he gets sick. Even if he smells spice, he can get sesriously ill. Child is Indian in appearance, but he eats mostly British or Irish foods, but no spiced Indian foods.
IKR... it's like a little sweet, savory and slightly garlic taste coming from it, It's just smooth
And I thought Americans were rude...
Jake The Snake But I think their reactions were very realistic than that of Americans.
+Jake The Snake, so, having a different taste in food is now considered rude? You might as well call it racist as well then, moron.

:( I'm American...I hope we're not as rude as you've experienced.
Geri J. Dude just chill..It's another moron.
This was as honest as it could be and I don't hate it
Pakora are made with Aaloo (potato) and tons of spices and no one eats rice in kheer you should try gajara halwa mittai gulab Jaman and MITTA CHAVAL ( sweet rice)
