He was brilliant! We loved the veggie options, it’s a change for us and we enjoyed it! 😁
@@jamieandhannah_ change is must in life it's bring joy n happiness 😂❤️Welcome to India
The guy took you to right places... Looks like you enjoyed it ❤
He definitely did, amazing tour and food!
that mf had the best spots lined up, very underrated host. Showed you things you might love and also not so much also, with no judging. Every country and people have unique tastes, he showed that here. Guaranteed if anyone spends years anywhere, they will understand the local palette and start craving the same thing as the locals. Also, you guys were very respectful and took it all in, great fucking job! Amazing video.
I have lived in Liverpool for 4 years and your Scouse accent brought back many memories. Welcome to India mate.
Amazing! Thank you for the warm welcome! We miss Liverpool, hope you enjoyed your time there 😊
Welcome to India. Have a safe and great journey guys 🙏🏻🚩🚩

no he didn't it was all vegetarian
Their is hundreds of variety of food all over india if you travel in another part of india you find completely different cuisine and even completely different taste of same type of food . India is heaven for food lovers no matter you are non vegetarian or vegetarian
Agreed, it’s a food heaven!! 🤩
Best thing that you had an Indian friend to give you insights all along. Definitely a good move.
I love it when people try to explore local and traditional things instead of just roaming in car . Loving this series . U both look adorable together ❤️ Have safe and amazing journey
That’s a lovely comment thank you, we’re happy we got to explore India even for just a short time! More to come! ☺️
True we Indians respect each other. (Good and bad is part of every nation) it's good to see people enjoy Indian cuisines and are willing to be part of "organized chaos"😂
Me as an Indian feel so good that people visit from the whole world to see our values our traditions and eat our local food welcome to India ❤️❤️❤️ lots of love
Thank you that’s very kind! We love sharing it and hope more travellers come here to experience it too 🇮🇳
Best time to visit any part of India is from October to March. You can visit hill states like Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Ladakh, Manipur, Nagaland, Sikkim, Mizoram, Assam, Arunachal, Gorkhaland, Meghalaya and Tripura any time of the year.
There is no Gorkhaland State in India. 😊
India has an incredible range of delicious foods in every state. I lived in Delhi for many years. Foods in old Delhi are truly delicious. Enjoy the diversity.
They really are, we had high hopes and it still exceeded that! 😄
My dear Jamie and Hannah welcome to the great republic of India stay safe may God bless both of you and have fun 🇮🇳🙏🏻🇮🇳🙏🏻🇮🇳🙏🏻🇮🇳🙏🏻🇮🇳🙏🏻🇮🇳🙏🏻🇮🇳🙏🏻🇮🇳🙏🏻🇮🇳🙏🏻🇮🇳🙏🏻🇮🇳🙏🏻

thanks for the video now i know who to book for my food tour in Delhi. Just found your channel look forward to seeing more of your videos
Amazing, we can 100% recommend it, it was a brilliant tour with a bit of everything in! There are also non-veg options too (you’ll see we did the veg one) 😊
Thank you we appreciate that!
Brilliant video!!! Subscribed.
Hi Jamie & Hannah, nice vlog. I want to mention that when you eat with any bread or roti, etc in india you don't have to use the spoon to fill them, simply take roti and dip it in the curry so it absorbs masala and then take a chunk with roti itself and eat.
If you wan you can use spoon to sip in between if roti is dry or if curry is too thin.
Thanks for watching and thanks for the tips! 😊
I am happy to become your 1000th Subscriber ❤️
Have a good time in India. Enjoy.
🙏🙏 We loved our trip - India is an amazing place with so much going on!!
So special, you guys are the first to visit India.
We indians needs to improve alot in many things but we are really proud of our food. We feel very satisfied and happy with our food.

Loved the vlog! Raghu sounds great! And that Kachori reaction was 🔥
Raghu was brill, we learned loads and loved every dish! 😁
The articulation of Indian food is far better than other videos.
Welcome to India. Country of Peace & Love
Hope you enjoying India tour ❤️
Thank you! 🥰
I would definitely suggest you to travel to Kolkata, West Bengal and Kerala (whole state) for awesome food and culture in general.
These places are all on our bucket list to explore in the future - it’s unfortunate that our VISA was so short but these places look so beautiful. India really has everything ♥️
I am an American in UP! I think they should visit UP also!
That would be such an insult to all other states if you circle out just two of them. Every state has its different flavour. Move away a 1000km and the whole scene changes
@@chillaxbaap these Bengalis have unnecessary superiority issue you just can't change them

It's very nice vlog and thanks for visiting in Delhi (india) kept up.❤❤
It is just pure joy watching someone who doesn't belong to our culture love the food so much 😊
All vegetarian and authentic, pure heaven
It was all amazing 🤩
@Quick Movies Hindi real spirit of indian food lies in veg not some afgani and mughal shit
Go to south India 🇮🇳 kerala, tamil Nadu, karnataka, pondicherry, auroville for authentic Indian culture and food and temples
What do you want to say that Indian culture is not visible in North India. Every part of India has different beauty, be it food, culture or temple. So don't say that everything is authentic in South India only.
@@Abhishek_Joshi20 north Indian states has highest crime rate littering issues and shit on the fields and most disgusting thing molesting foreigners this is not indian culture.
Great Videos of showing our Cuisine keep up
Happy to see you Jamie and hannah. Enjoys trip .Must eat samosa Fokcha rasgulla and jalebee.....👏👏👏👏

A typical Indian meal is eaten in a thali. A thali refers to the plate that a thali meal may be served on. The idea behind a thali is to offer all the 6 different flavours of sweet, salt, bitter, sour, astringent and spicy on one single plate. According to Indian food custom, a proper meal should be a perfect balance of all these six flavours.
So a tvpical normal Indian thali would consist of the following-
1. Rice
2. Flat bread
3. Lentil soup (dal)
4. Appetizer ( papad/Papadum)
5. Fried vegetable
6. Vegetable cooked in a gravy sauce
7. Fresh salad vegetable
8 Choice of Meat (chicken/mutton/fish)
9. Curd
10. Pickles / chutneys
Dishes served in a thali vary from region to region and cuisine to cuisine in the Indian subcontinent and are usually served in small bowls, called katori in India. These katoris are placed along the edge of the round tray, the actual thali. Sometimes a steel tray with multiple compartments is also used.
The number of dish items may increase if you are inviting a guest home. But in some restaurants, people go overboard with the thali concept, where, each thali consist of
40-50 dishes.
You can search for-
Dara Singh thali
Bahubali thali
Big Boss Thali
Ravan Thali
to get an idea of what I mean.
Here are some Thalis from different states -

The most important thing about Thalis is their unlimited refills concept.
Here are some tips on eating Indian food -
1. Start off with starters like a kebab or tandoori platter usually served with tamarind sauce, mint or yoghurt sauce.
2. Next we then have the flat bread (roti, chapati, naan, puri, paratha, kulcha, bhatura)
www-indiafoodnetwork-

with some of the side dishes, either vegetarian or non vegetarian curry aka gravy aka sauce. You tear the bread and scoop out the meat along with sauce/gravy/curry. The warmer the bread the more the flavors and less chewy.
3. Then we take the rice into the plate and have it with the lentils or veg/meat sauce/ gravy/curry and clean it all up. The hotter the rice, the more chance your mouth will get burnt.
And If you are having the biryani rice, you take it with a salan gravy and a raita based yoghurt dip. And it's a complete meal on its own. There are 20+ varieties of biryanis depending on which community is cooking it and the region from where it's from. And many will argue that vegetable Biryani is not a biryani.
www.whatsuplife.in/different-variety-types-biryani-india
4. Finally finish off with a sweet desert either gulab jamun, rasogulla, kheer, payasam, barfi, sandesh etc
We don't scoop out the bread and rice and the sauces/gravy/ curries together at the same time.
Also many people eat samosas in their meals on CZcams but then Samosas are usually eaten as a snack during tea time.
Also some people have just the bread or rice along with the side dishes as eating both bread and rice at the same time can be too heavy in a single meal.
Wow what a brilliant list of recommendations, very helpful. Hopefully other travellers can see this comment and try them as they travel around the different states!
Dude you took that straight out of my comment. Not cool 🤬
I know but it much informative you just framed it perfectly in that comment of yours , and how can you give shoutout in comment sections or else I would have mentioned your name, so i thought it would be better to comment it in your words as it will be helpful for them.Just spreading information framed by you, sorry if it offended you my intentions were just to let them to know.
And if I had told them to go see this comment from this vlog .Most probably they wouldn’t have gone that far to know it.
@@Aisha-110 Well ok but atleast just quote my handle next time.
wow, that's a good start of food to try(just street food)... excellent choices... now to try some real food, like Tandoori chicken, biryani, shahi paneer, butter chicken (several types), butter garlic naan, cheese naan, parantha, dalh makhani, chicken tikka, mutton korma, chicken jalfreazi, chicken boona, gobi manchu, kebabs, bindi masala, rogan josh, Kashmiri naan, dalh tadnka
Also the sweets: Gajar Ka Halwa, pista and mango Kulfi, jalebi, fresh galub jamun (warm and crispy outer layer), koya burfi (plain and with nuts), milk cake, rasgulla
Oh wow your comment just made us extremely hungry 🤣
So we tried the most amazing tandoori chicken in Udaipur…it was absolutely delicious! We also tried biriyani a lot in Jodhpur (we’ve actually eaten amazing biriyani in Malaysia too, months back!)
We’ve eaten so much naan, mutter paneer and butter chicken (our favourite)! Rogan josh is a dish we used to eat a lot back home - we LOVE Indian food in the UK! We also ate lots of sweets, gulab jamun being our favourite. The first time we tried it was life changing! 🤤
@@jamieandhannah_ Ohh nice, have you tried food from the south... there are soo many dishes in the south that are unique and have their own regional spin. Hope you can visit the south in the next one, as you will find a host of dishes as your new favs.
We visited Goa for a week and we tried some of the seafood and different dish variations there…absolutely delicious!
And these are just party foods or the ones you eat on special occasion or once in a week . Now there's a lot more in regular food🤣🤣🤣

if you visit please try to avoid Delhi city in India. plenty of negatives. haven't seen many foreigner like Delhi. most of Indians don't like Delhi. Delhi is less than 0.03% of India by area. so you have whole of India to see even you avoid Delhi.

Pure honest reaction ❤
I liked the presentation style for this video. Interesting that you only tried vegetarian fare in Old Delhi! :) Its also famous for its non vegetarian fare. Also the roads are definitely crazy. Its not so much organized chaos but pure chaos lol.
We’re actually big meat eaters but we had heard a lot of good things about the vegetarian and vegan dishes here, so decided to try it out! We also ate a lot of meat and it didn’t disappoint, so so good! Especially tandoori chicken, that was our favourite!
Welcome to India guys.................Glad you liked the cuisine.........awesome coverage
We loved it, thank you!
We love you, proud Indian from jharkhand State,

The food is incredible and it’s amazing how it differs all over! 😁
Wonderful couple, I hope their channel grows
Old Delhi food is HEAVEN
and you visited HEAVEN 👍👍
In India, food becomes THE FOOD if DEEP FRIED 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Indian cuisine should be No.1 and not No.5 in the world because no country has the plethora of vegetarian options like India has.
you should take a non veg tour too in the same area. its worth experiencing
Definitely - this was something different for us but we pretty much ate non veg the rest of our trip. Tandoori chicken was a game changer!!!!
you should try good Biriyani places , mutton one
i like people who appreciate a good cup of tea
This time when you come to India, definitely go with us
As a viewer i would like to say to u guys that dont be like other vloggers, like testing Indian foods and acting like all of the Indian foods are good and all .......im pretty sure that u guys wouldnt like atleast some of the foods in India cause the Indian and other countries tastebuds are different .
Im not trying to bring up hate here ,instead i want genuine vloggers who are not afraid to talk about the things they like and thing s they dont like.....So guys ,as u guys are relatively new vloggers try to be genuine and keep up the good work.Looking forward to more Indian videos. All love
We absolutely loved the food we were given on the tour…I’m a sure there are some we wouldn’t like but not on this tour. We’ll…as you can see Jamie didn’t like the spice in the Kachori 🤣
We’re also not new to the taste, back home we have a big love for Indian food, but it was amazing to be able to try it in the homeland and it tasted totally different (and even better, of course)! 😁
Were you able to handle the hot spices next day ? 😂😅
Hahah, we were okay…we woke up craving more! 🤣
The the menu recital of paratha was epic.. Loved the video. Your tour guide was awesome
Thank you!! Amazing isn’t it haha, and yes he was brilliant 🤩

please don't eat too many street foods at once. reason for street foods in India costing less than half of restaurant foods is use of cheap harmful ingredients which are are banned in lot of countries. most Indians generally eat home made food. people who do lot of physical work like construction workers, labourers etc and who are used to those kind of food can only eat them on regular basis without getting sick.
Thank you. Aside from the food we ate on this tour, we didn't eat any street food in India, only restaurants! And thankfully we didn't get sick!
Dont spread fake info.. india food is different from others. Even we cant survive for long eating food outside not bcoz its made out of chesp ingredients but actual reason is its made out tons of oil, masala and spices which is not good to eat regularly. Thats the reason we dont even eat outside everyday
Absolutely untrue. These are simple, regular, relatively healthy food, chick peas curry, potato, kulcha bread, pooris...these are absolutely safe food. Most Indians eat similar food at home too! " use of cheap harmful ingredients which are are banned in lot of countries"....so you are afraid of "the dangerous" channa masala banned in lot of countries funny lol! Go to NYC or any major city (e.g. Bangkok) and street food is similar, costs less, prepared in less formal settings but fresh ...can't understand how Delhi street food alone is worthy of these contemptuous comments!
@@ajmashirshankar7814 I agree, as a fellow "Indian", I find this comment completely untrue and misleading... in fact my favorite food is none other than street food! I eat enough of it to know that it is completely safe, it just isn't prepared in an environment that looks hygienic, making people like this think that the food is unsafe or unhealthy!
Which banned ingredients do the Indian street venders use kindly mention some of them. I bet you can't because there isn't any !!
Nice. Low key, down to earth. Great jjob!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed watching! 🥰
