Yes!!! My son's socks go missing all the time, or he won't have matching🧦😳😳. And I can totally relate to anniversaries. My husband and I will be celebrating nineteen years this May and I am satisfied with a pizza or burger and coke, it's the memories that count🥰💕.

I think the dryer eats the socks! My kids and my husband, who I call my 3rd kid, take their socks off in random different places. I'll find one sock in the bathroom and the other in the living room.

I saw a video from an appliance repair person and they open up -I forget if it was the washer and dryer - but yes socks are there. But your case sounds extreme. I don’t think ALL their socks would be there. Quite the mystery 😂

Besides our wedding anniversary we celebrate the anniversary of our first date which is 2/13/04, (Friday the 13th) 20 years together! It’s also super neat when it falls on a Friday again. He also proposed exactly a year after, so forget Valentine’s Day, 😆, 2/13 means more!!
