Rare moment where the player can see Victor here bending spacetime because he's sick of your crap. Usually this is done between encounters.
The trick is to shoot him. He cannot fast travel when enemies are nearby.
My boi Victor had the power of jumpscaring people off guard

Victor probably predicted where the Courier would go next and fast traveled outta there.

I vaguely recall in Many A True Nerd's video "Where Do They Go?" He was following Tabitha and Rhonda and Rhonda fragmented in a kinda similar way

The part where he breaks off and flies away was unexpected and made my sides flies off with him.
YOU TELLING ME, IN ALL MY YEARLY PLAYTHROUGHS OF THIS GAME, THAT YOU CAN RECRUIT VICTOR IN GHOST TOWN GUNFIGHT? HOW HAVE I NEVER FOUND THIS?
Because it's never implied, marked, or easy to find Victor around during the quest. The first time I figure it out was when I went to get ammunition in Victor's house and he was in front of the door, so I talked to him and notice the new dialog, then he deactivate himself in the middle of the street during the battle which was useful for cover, but not the kind of help I was expecting.
I did recruit Victor for the gunfight, but he didn't show up. :( That's when I knew something wasn't right about that guy.
He doesn’t do anything though. Talking to him afterwards and with a science check says he was deactivated from a remote signal.

He's just learned about fast travel and is trying to master it.
So THAT’s how Victor showed up in The Frontier! (I have a video where he shows up there.)
Hmm that's interesting! Maybe it's because Victor is supposed to be "deactivated" during the powder gang fight so he can't help you. For whatever reason the game seems to ignores the quest start and complete flags after you finished the gunfight , putting Victor in both an "active" state and "deactivate" state at the same time. These are just my own thoughts though.

Had a similar experience in Ulysses boss fight. He became a long, thin spaghetti monster and the only way I could hit him was in vats lmao

I had encounter the same thing before. This can even occur on random npcs or mostly on dead npcs. It always result in the ragdoll animation to go elastics.
i think it may be an issue with the version(s) of Havok that were in use around the time. you could occasionally see ragdolls bug out like this in other games, too; Halo 3 ragdolls, for example, could sometimes stretch apart very briefly if killed by a very high-speed impact
@@DavidJCobb Bethesda is using the same engine TES Oblivion is using. It’s not Havok engine. Forgot the name XD.

I could never have imagined Victor going away from the player instead of towards.
Something similar happens to the physical assets to EDE where his wires and antennas get stretched randomly just like Victor's in this clip. Happens when I play on console.

Ok so also in Goodsprings. After doing the Tutorial, I bought a shovel and was walking to the graveyard. On the way, I picked up the BB gun. As I turned the corner of the house, a fuckin Deathclaw spawned as if it left the boarded door to the house.
I have a single screenshot of this and have never been able to replicate it
This happened to me once or twice, here's the first time it happened and all it's weirdness with human models

I had a Cazador move into Goodsprings shortly after I'd left the docs house, it didn't end well for the locals.
My favorite bug ( if you consider this a bug ) with victor is when I was playing Fallout the frontier, I was almost about to die because I got ambused by weird alien creatures and suddenly i hear grenade explosion, 9mm smg shots and the infamous "HOG KILLING TIME!" and low and behold IT WAS VICTOR! it was almost like he followed this far out in Portland. Would've been amazing if he said something along the lines like "Come on partner this place isn't fit for us, Lets head back west where its warmer. Sarsaparilla on me!"
First I was like: "ok, he lags away from you, nothing too crazy."
But then: WHAT THE FUCKING HELL?

It's quite fun when sometimes Victor dies because of the cazadors, when trying to explain you that you have chosen a dangerous path
This looks like an awesome way to portrait A horror sequence in a nightmare. Player tries to reach a person, but they constantly port themselves away untile they eventually fade into nothingness.
He’s trying to “lag” his way to the strip
the only things this needs to become a genuine video game creepy pasta is for Victor to become hyper-realistic and have blood-shot eyes
RobCo is way more advanced than we thought.
There's a cool piece of secret dialogue if you don't talk to Victor at all before reaching the Strip; he mentions that he never saw you again after digging you up and assumed you'd died from your injuries.

I think that the BigMT teleporter is malfunctioning again... they wanted to reprogram victor to make muggy2
if you go to the white glove society and go into there bath house, at the end to the left of the room (right next to the steamer room) there is a weird bench like thing that are allover the rooms walls that has no wall collision. if you go into it you fall out of the map it respawns you at the door
