HI MRllamasc, The best way to play Nova sorc through Normal/Nightmare is by dumping a bunch of tir runes into shield/Helm slot. Gives you a ton of Maek. You'll gain more mana than you spend that way, making it just a pure telestomp build all the way up to hell act 3.
Currently running a lightning sorceress in hell with an Insight Act I ice merc. It’s only slow because I insist on trying to kill everything. I have a rare orb on switch that gives glacial spike, so I dumped a point into cold mastery instead of frost shield and then I freeze opponents in place and let the Merc kill them. If I can find a 40S eth pole arm, I’ll replace her with a holy freeze merc. .
Thanks, I'm leveling as a Lightning sorc rn (not nova), and in normal it was miserable at times, especially vs glooms and ghosts like in CS. The melee mobs are easier as they line up nicely when charging at you, but the ranged you often gotta pick 1 at a time. Nightmare was ok with Lore, Rhyme and Spirit. Currently 52 and in Hell, having much more trouble than my Bone necro.
Sorc has 3 elements. In Hell if you take a second element (fire) you skip less content. Hell has always been about skipping and teleport is the best mobility skill in the game... Oh. And expect is to cost 10c per teleport next year. Monetization can easily be added to D2R too.
Quest Andy can get you your Hotspurs. I take Prayer mercs to start, he stays healthy, you stay healthy, it's the best one in Normal, he has zero trouble hitting.
1:11:30 The Countess dropped 3 TIR-Runes for me after several runs and Wirt happened to have a 3-socketed leg for me. +6 mana per kill in a one-handed weapon alone is a huuuge bonus. 😉
I love nova sorc, went through nightmare like a breeze on P5, respec to hydra orb to go through hell and then I will respect to nova energy shield for farming
Sorta new but I made it to chaos sanctuary with wolf Druid but hit a wall. Using Sorc I just spec charge bolt max, staff +2 charge bolt and +1 static field I’m cruising thru the game at end of act 3 currently.
I have no clue why people insist on skipping, I followed your hydra/orb playthrough, and while it took you 2 hours for normal, it took me 5 hours, and I ended normal on level 50 with a ton of runes/gems/jewels/ammys/bases. Nightmare was a breeze up to act 5 where I decided to try and farm Meph, but for some reason he destroys me, even on players 1(even with 75 all res, 500+ def, and a merc with a perfect insight, 1500 hp and 1200 def) , I've been doing the runs on players 8 the whole way through other than countess, and Meph just destroys me haha, trying to find magefist/occy/travs/viper to upgrade as Im level 70 and have everything ready to spam roughly 10 spirit shields to aim for the 35FCR. Found a Soj in act 3 from a random mob haha, got the video on my channel of it too :P

killing diablo was a challange but did it your videos are so helpful and got lucky got some chance guard gloves and gc with 23 cold resist i feel that's pretty good for normal diablo
I didnt payed attention, but later on farming the tower i noticed that its an offline character. That's why he knows where the tower is :D Isnt it cool to play also on ladder? But i had to say, the game is running fine, but having 0 lags and maps is also cool =)
I used to play a lot of Summoners War and the Krakens in that game honestly don't even play there own account. They pay for a lot of summons/gear/packs ect then have others hired to play whenever they're not playing. It's crazy. If you got the money then i guess it is what it is but blows my mind. Like at least play the game you're dropping half a mil or upwards of 2m~ on.

Came into this moral dilemma recently havent played thru the game on single player thru hell on any charscter ever got stuck yesterday playing nova and did enable respec after using my respec realized it wasnt available to switch players or people playing thru on single player while also playing on online mode. Deleted all my single player characters items and gold disabled respec and started over. Lost some sanders boots and an ancients pledge. Also reddited this question and people said other things like using mules is also cheating. That one didnt sit right with me. Turned into a conversation about purism and a rabbit hole i didnt like. Is playing single player in general cheating since the maps always the same? Do i have to beat the game from lvl1-99 in hell without resetting map? Real questions reply with your thoughts.
Well Diablo Immortal is a mobile game, the whole "money stuff" is expected. There is really no mobile game that doesnt have some kind of "pay to win" or "money does this or that" type of thing out there. If its mobile, that means "money is expected" if you want to skip the grind. Game can be done easily with use of tossing money at it, but at same time you can do everything in the game without dropping a single penny into it. But thats expected, money will always be major part of the game if you want to skip the grind. Always funny how people are getting annoyed by the money part(as thats been major thing many online have been complaining about), when they forgot it was a mobile game ported to PC. Mobile games = always advertise p2w or etc money parts all the time. Not put a single penny into it myself and find it pretty fun for a mobile hack-slash game. Theres really not many of those around and all mobile games seem to be the "gacha games" so its nice to have a hack-slash mobile game. One of those gotta look at it as a mobile game, not "D 2.5 or D3 lite or etc." Its not a PC game, so wont act like say D2 does. Its a mobile game and will play like any and all mobile games. Will be liked by lots and hated by lots, thats mobile games for you. Ignoring the "grab for money" as you dont have to drop a dime is the way you do it if you dont want to pay anything. Yeah it will mean you gotta invest the time to do what some one could with cash but its all possible in the end, just means you gotta actually invest the time; which is how many mobile games are. And this isn't as bad as what some are as this one you can actually do without paying while there are some that you cant really play unless you do drop the cash.

So you start to question why you're choosing to invest time into the game if you're always going to run the risk of being carried in certain content or be locked out of doing content other people are doing simply because you didn't pay for it. You have to realize that you're going to be behind someone, and if that's cool for you and doesn't detract from the total experience, then what other people say about it isn't an issue because you've already made that decision. I find it more funny that you think it's funny that people get annoyed at companies coming out with a game that is designed to be a cash grab, insinuating that their opinion is less valid than your own, or even worse, that people aren't allowed to criticize a product that a company comes out with.

Some people literally have ZERO restraint. You don't have to pay a dime. Does that mean you'll be "behind" those who did pay? Yes probably. If that's your mindset (for any game) then yeah I'm sorry but I'll never give you money ... people like you are exactly the reason why mobile "f2p" games are so focused on "p2p" or even actually "p2w" sometimes ... you're the problem, not the game itself. show some restraint, enjoy the content you can access, and stop complaining. As someone who's never had any kind of money to throw at games ... this is how I've approached any mobile game.

This was my goto bot build. Easier to debug the targeting if the attack sequence involves teleporting on top of the boss.

Sure but I wouldn't recommend it much on ssf like this. Definitely something better for when you have a bit more gear. Not impossible though

Yes and if your merc has some mf on his equipment and he he kills an enemy (last hit), final mf is the sum of your mf and his mf

If that's your mindset (for any game) then yeah I'm sorry but I'll never give you money ... people like you are exactly the reason why mobile "f2p" games are so focused on "p2p" or even actually "p2w" sometimes ... you're the problem, not the game itself. show some restraint, enjoy the content you can access, and stop complaining.
