I’m glad you covered that white 240, I live around that area so I’ve seen it a ton whenever I get bored and browse marketplace at work. He’s gone back and forth posting and taking down the car for about half a year. I believe he originally listed it for 27, but if it’s up for more than 2 weeks he’ll do a fresh listing. Blocked me and my coworkers a good while back when we heckled him. Shocking how big of a state of disillusion they live in.

My dream CAR was an ae86 and I waited 10 years for the right car at the right price. Something clean and complete without tasteless modifications. All I’ve had to do is maintenance and replacing worn out bushings. No rust, straight body, good original paint and interior. But with a car like that I’d recommend not buying someone’s project shitbox. Unless you know exactly what you’re getting into. If you’re 15 and wanting to buy an 86 as your first car, chances are you won’t be able to afford one or maintain it if you do manage to get one. Chances are it’ll be clapped and beyond your financial means to fix right. Patience is important. Don’t settle for some clapped out shitbox. Save up and be patient for something decent.
If I’m spending 20k on a car and my choices were a 90s 240 and a 2012 Camaro ss, both used. I’d definitely go for Camaro and I’ll even have 10k left. 😂
My friend has a 2013 SS that I think he got for $13,000. I seriously was thinking about getting one. I love that it's an american muscle car that isn't fat, plus they seem to actually be reasonably priced.

Really any car as old as these is somewhat of a gamble.
@@tenmil1kind of depends; a lot of single owner toyota/lexus from this era are in beautiful shape. Just have to be patient and find one owned by an old couple.
Miatas too, a lot of great old man miatas out there that have literally never seen redline. i have 2 and they both came in good shape but with lots of carbon because they never revved past 4k rpm ever until i bought them.
@schakalicious6023 yeah and you have to find one for sale too. You've mentioned some extremely rare, and also ideal conditions. The galaxies don't often align for a deal like that.

@coliimusic no. Selling their car on marketplace or Craigslist or other public markets is what's rare. Frequently the cars go to family members who may or may not keep them or advertise them as senior owned. Not everyone knows what we do.

If I had the money, I think it would be good to buy a 13 with minimal rust to restore back to nice condition and sit on to sell for a ton of money in the next 5 to 10 yrs

That’s good car actually the CLS 500 was the first model outrageously priced when they where new I almost purchased the CLS 55 but heard the cost to maintain it after warranty was costly so I passed on it but they are fast cars the reason why it’s has AMG badge is because of body kit, Look up a ClLS 500 and you will see the difference

Late spec 6th gen Celica (ST202) with the variable vale timing BEAMS engine was/is ~200bhp.
The GT-FOUR (ST205) is 255bhp factory.
They’re mostly all running more though. Exhaust, filter and boost controller gets 300-330bhp. ECU change for 350bhp.
Be warned the stock top mount liquid to air charge cooler is very poor, easily overwhelmed and heat soaked. Needs changing for a FMIC for engine longevity. Also stock intake manifold also badly designed, flow prioritises centre cylinders and leans them out. Free DET!

Hello guys, looking for some advice. My s14 was stolen on the 4th of July and when I recovered it it had severe rear damage and the wheels/tires were stolen. The insurance company determined the vehicle a loss because the repair cost went over the vehicle value according to them. Earlier thus year I paid $12,000 for my mint 96 Zenki in California, the insurance company is saying that the car is valued at $7,000. My question is do you have any advice on how I can prove to the insurance company the value of my S14? Thank you guys ✌🏽
