Joe Jackson is unique among artists because he seemed to change styles and genres with each successive album. This was often confusing to fans, and probably impacted his long term popularity, but it was never boring. A fabulous songwriter and consummate musician, he surrounds himself with top musicians and ALWAYS delivers a terrific show.
One of the best, Joe truly is The Man. And after all these years, and at least five tours that I've seen live, THIS is still my favorite Joe Jackson song

I’m 65 now and when this came out I was shifting from acoustic to electric guitar. Good Lord I blasted this song in my apartment and learned to play every track on the album while running around the room with a Telecaster. It was a great time in my life. I still play Joe’s vinyl today. Fantastic songwriter and musician.

I saw Joe Jackson at the Fox Theater in Atlanta. I think it was around when Night and Day was out or possibly Body and Soul. At some point between songs it was quiet, he was just about to start a song and then someone yelled "Free bird!" Joe Jackson got really mad and threatened to end the show. I still chuckle when I think about it. Was a great show and I'm still a huge Joe Jackson fan.
