I still play Joe’s vinyl today. Fantastic songwriter and musician.

I saw Joe Jackson at the Fox Theater in Atlanta. I think it was around when Night and Day was out or possibly Body and Soul. At some point between songs it was quiet, he was just about to start a song and then someone yelled "Free bird!" Joe Jackson got really mad and threatened to end the show. I still chuckle when I think about it. Was a great show and I'm still a huge Joe Jackson fan.

He truly is one of, if not thee, most prolific songwriter of the modern age.His work just keeps getting better and better as the years roll by. I saw him for the Rain tour in Redwood city. There is a lot of very good music,but there is nothing that approaches this, and Joe's early albums, or Costello's and Graham Parker's, early ones. When Springsteen and Petty were in their prime for raw power,honesty, intellect in the lyrics and just one great song after another.

Went to see Joe Jackson in Toronto, Canada way back when. The show was stupendous, but deafeningly loud. Did Joe ever get inducted into the R+R Hall of Fame? Truly one of the most talented, versatile musicians of our era.
