It doesn’t always work. Like.. it has a cooldown for about 10 seconds and more. So if someone was out of your view and you saw them and get a kill it wont happen for the next 10 or more seconds so people could still kill you from behind. So.. not really op

@@madhavmenon9794 I think high alert works better if it's used for individual use, it's like having eyes behind your back. of course you can mark enemies and their equipment but you can manually mark an area where the enemies are (the "I'm defending this spot" thing).
What? How the hell would thermal benefit from this lmao, riot shields would benefit most with this, this perk would also be fitting to be added as a class perk in battle royale
You can also use it for sniper vs sniper battles and you can tell where they are going to peek up if they are proned or crouched behind a spot
This is how it's intended. Nowhere near as powerful as smoke bomber in BR. Its just finally something useful in the 3rd perk slot not named dead silence
They need to relax fr that's how the perk suppose to work like come on leave it alone

Dead Silence is not entirely OP. You can still detect enemies who have Dead Silence equipped by equipping Alert yourself, though I'm sure the effectiveness of Alert is reduced against Dead Silence. I remember when I had an enemy hiding behind me that I didn't notice until he moved and I was killed before I could react. Normally with Alert you can detect them even if they're just standing still if they don't have Dead Silence, but if they do they'll only be detected if they move. CMIIW.

They need to add a point system like back in Bo2, Bo3 and Bo4 where you're limited on what you can put on your classes. And they need to add wildcards to add more perks..... or at least add specialist perks like Mw3

I’ve used this combined with pinpoint to completely dominate maps like crash with m16 equipped for accuracy. Don’t even really need full auto.
Before the high alert perk released I thought when ur vision pulses it would zoom in and out like crazy and when it mark targets I thought it would label the scorestreaks
I dont equip high alert perk thom but i can some mini red diamond on top of the enemy, for anyone who still havent notice how the perk work, you can see the border of ypur screen pulses and turns a bit yellow
The high alert perk also is useful for teamates because they can see the red mark also so if your running sniper your just a legit spotlight for your teamates
There is actually a visual glitch that is game changing, where you aren't using high alert but still see the red mark
Does the marker work with a melee when we can’t aim? Cause I’m a melee user and ik that katana special drops smoke and you can see everyone that’s in it when you activate it but it would still be cool to use the perk while I’m running and throwing smoke all over the place with my sword instead of you know like having to switch between my sword to my gun every time I it. It’s annoying.
That perk also works on SnD where people try to Ninja Defuse and catch them with it
i had started using high alert since it came out now. its really great
I don't have that perk, but a teammate did and i seen the markers myself so unless they fixed that, there is also that plus side

The main problem is that the enemy gets marked for the whole team even if the other 4 persons don't have it equipped. That's way too OP IMO.
I love that perk I use it all the time it lets me it lets me know when where the enemy is

I wish when u pulse part of the screen pulse where the enemy is in other words if the enemy is the left of you the screen pulse on your left and so forth. And at first when you mark someone they stayed marked for a few seconds but now they stay mark about longer and you can mark up to 3 people if not more
This will be so usefull in hardcore mode cuz it's really annoying to kill our own teammates in a flow

If High Alert pulses on the direction where you are seen (for example: the enemy sees you on your left it pulses on your left screen) that would be op as hell

Yeah I use it to find if people see me I look in one direction and see if my vision pulses then turn around and look around for the player
Actually on low graphics you can see through the smoke . But i find it super helpful when someone sees me and my vision pulses , you know if someone is seeing you.
I've noticed it works for the whole team, I dont use it and I see the red marker

I've been using this perk since I got it and I really like it 'cause helps me a bit more with my reaction time so yeah.. Pretty nice perk for me

Hey Bobby there is like a glitch in the game, when I use dead silence the high alert perk also trigger, so basically I have 2 perks at the same time
Your teammates must be using it if one guy in your team aims down on an enemy it marks it for the entire team.
So this is kinda like the sight you could get on your guns in bo2

My character auto tags enemies when they spot me and they're not in my lime of sight....but i don't use High alert ...how's that ?
It don't give me aumbot but I used it then I got rid of the perk for all guns but now it glitches and still works without me having it equiped
