I found the waterpumP needed a desperate recovery. It's super rusty at the bottom and very dirty but it's still working.
So, I started with disassembling, what turned out to be very complicated. Like new creations and buildings and can also be restored.

Some have commented on the lack of the right tools.....In my opinion it is not the tools that make the restoration...It is the use of the tools available that makes the worker A GREAT RESTORER. !! Great Job :)

"A GREAT RESTORER" uses the correct tools. A few basic tools are all that is required to do it properly.
I do not agree with you, there have been many failures in this restoration. If this pump were tested with water, water may leak through the mechanical seal. Bad work done.
You did a good job 👍🏻 taking apart machine, replacing worn parts and cleaning 🧼 everything without a bunch of bells and whistle hi tech tools! You did it with very little tools 🛠 I can imagine how good you’ll be as you build your toolbox 🧰!!! 👍🏻❤️😊🛠

Kudos to you for a job well done using what you had to work with in order to make something better instead of a piece of junk, (something most people would have thrown out. )
After restoration and running the pump dry well.. good luck to the newly installed shaft seal
made that mistake once. cracked the Teflon like a moron. Good job though. If you had used a puller the vid would only be 8 minutes long in real time.

Sandblasting and powdercoating is the way to go. Nice restoration project I would do parts slightly different.

One bearing doesn't sit hard enough on its place. Not sure it'll work too long.
Also he didn't put any grease on spindle or bearings. Half baked restoration, will break down soon.

I so agree. Got a 2001 Jeep Cherokee and 1979 Ford e150 van with issues and people have said to just sell themselves and get a newer used vehicle. I told them I'd rather take the money I'd have to spend on another used vehicle, that could die days after it left the lot (non lemon laws here), and rebuild their engines, repair their bodies and have vehicles I know I can trust. Specially the van, it could outlast me.

The water outlet originally was on the top. After reassembly, it was to the side. You have turned pumping section of 90 degrees.

wow - I can not believe how you got those bolts out with mostly just a pair of rusty pliers - where can I buy a plier that will do that much - and do you not have wrenches ans sockets
The restoration works committed one and were carried out by the person is excellent.

You didnt tape off the eye connectors on the ends of the wires and they are covered in blue paint when you reassemble from 24:32 on.
Why you connect it with two wire cable ? And what PE ? .....Especially at water pump it is sooo important when winding break to motor casing.
Welcome to Asia... I don't think I've seen any restoration video that conformed to European safety standards yet. Or maybe one... and that was Czech, not Asian.

It's not recommended that the pump operate without a fluid ... this leads to deterioration of the mechanical seal.
Not a restore just a clean and paint and 1 set of the field coil windings were darkened as though they had already overheated so it is doomed to fail
