    I’ve had my 2021 PRO-4X for 4 months now. Up til now, Life long Ram guy. I love that I don’t see many of these and hope not to! Power is awesome, sound is even better (just added cat back). The rack system is genius. Ride is a little more trucky but not bad. Economy is better than advertised. Mine does not have the off-road rack but this truck has the skid plates. Steps are nice touch. Seats are very comfortable. It’s a bit smaller than the Ram inside. Not much not to like. The Steering wheel audio controls are horrible! From 1990’s! I do like the column shifter tho - the manual shift +\- is easy. I find the backup camera grainy. Sound system is awesome! 12 speakers. Fairly techy otherwise. Overall, I would recommend giving this truck a look. Warranty is better than any other.

    Just got a 2021 Pro-4x in baja storm about 2 weeks ago and I absolutely love it. It was between the Pro-4X and and Ram Rebel with the exact same features but the Rebel would have been about 8k more. The huge price difference along with the 5 year/100k warranty was just too much to pass up. The dealer out here in Boerne TX also had lifetime oil changes and an additional lifetime warranty on the engine. This truck is SOOO underrated and it's refreshingly different from all the other trucks you see on the road.

So deals are out there to be had, cant say the same for Ram & Ford where their trucks had dealer markups on them. I also like that it doesnt have start/stop tech, or cylinder deactivation, or turbos.

      Zac.... is the ride quality good enough to take the truck on a cross-country trip? I am looking for a truck that rides real smooth, I’m getting old 😊... thinking about the ram 1500, I’ve heard it rides the smoothest

    • @MrAgnostic77
      @MrAgnostic77 Před 3 lety +2

      @@DonRyanWA , the Pro-4X will ride more stiff than a street truck. The idea with the stiffer suspension, is you want the tire to rebound quickly with harsher terrain because when your tire looses track of the road, you loose control of the truck. If you want a "smooth" ride for a truck, perhaps a 2wd will give you a more relaxed ride. The best decision will come from your test drive and what fits your family and your lifestyle.

    • @ZacColeman
      @ZacColeman Před 3 lety

      @D R, in my opinion the ride quality is great. I haven’t taken any longer road trips yet, but I wouldn’t be concerned taking it. I was looking at the Ram Rebel and I felt the Titan was just slightly less smooth and not worth the extra 💵.

    Thanks for this review Ben. Nissan has always been the best bang for the buck for me and it's one of the new trucks I'm considering along with the Trailboss and Rebel. I like how Nissan is really stepping up their game with designs on the new Frontier, 400z and this IMO in order to be competitive and stay relevant. I think the Pro-4X in black or gray looks really good and it's unique in that you won't see too many around.

      NeatO. I almost bought a 2020 Midnight Edition a couple months ago. I went with the 2020 Rebel. I loveeeeeeee my new Rebel it still has less than 10 000km's on it. Its fast for a pick up! Faster than almost all other pick ups on the road. Ummm what else can I tell you. I got the unique red interior, which is nice I like it. Uhhh tons of interior space which you probably know if you're considering one. Awesome off road. I previously owned a 2017 Grand Cherokee Limited which I bought in 2017. The Jeep was awesome off road. But what the Jeep struggled to, the Ram Rebel doesn't even notice. So that a big difference. Two thing's I can say about the Rebel I don't like. 1 - Sharp turns the vehicle almost stops itself. 2 - Gas, costs me about $120/per fill up here in, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada@ Costco cheapest gas in the city no less. I'm curious to see what kinda truck you get Doug. Maybe you'll make a vid to show us lol.

I just have to decide if it's worth $10k more. In regards to the MPG, my 2013 Pro-4x was getting 13 mpg with my lead foot and went down to 10 mpg with the 35" tires and performance mods so I'm no stranger to lousy mpg but I do find it funny when people complain about the TRX mpg. • @MrAgnostic77
      @MrAgnostic77 Před 3 lety +1

      @@kkff1388 , yeah, the Trailboss has a factory lift too. My thought on the Titan is to do the UCA up front with extended length coilovers that will allow me to clear 35" tires and not increase the track width and no need for extended axels or fiberglass fenders. Essentially I'll get about 11" of travel up front. Dirt King Fabrication in CA has a nice kit with a clean bolt on prerunner bumper. Just my thoughts and potential plans.

When you're hauling or towing a heavy load just click the dial to keep you lights on the road and not blinding oncoming traffic. Toyota has also offered this since 2007. I cant understand why the domestics have yet to offer this feature. When I put a 2 inch x 1 inch lift level 9n my titan xd I clicked the adjuster down 1 notch amd my lights are back to stock level.

I’ve found that the truck’s drive shifter ( when in the drive position) covers up those buttons. So if I’m driving and I need the rear defrost on, I have to shift my head and body to see the button. My concern with this truck (and a lot of other modern engines) is that it is direct injection. Because of government fuel standards, GDI engines are becoming the norm and intake valves in those vehicles are notorious for becoming gunked to the point that you eventually need walnut blasting to restore their performance. Ford has solved this problem with port and direct injection in the 3.5 Ecoboost and the 5.0 Coyote. Now that Chevy and Nissan have converted their engines to GDI it will be interesting to see how they hold up. The 5.7 Hemi I believe is still port only as is the 5.7 in the Toyota. The new 3.5 twin turbo in the 2022 Toyota will probably be direct and port as several of their smaller engines have made the switch. If I was to purchase the Titan I would invest in a catch can relatively soon.

      You make a goo dpoint Zaki. Maybe it wouldn't make sense for you to buy one now. I dunno or maybeeeee it would lol. I really don't tow or haul anything except for a Sea-Doo and I own a 2020 Ram Rebel. Man it just makes life so much easier for me. Everytime I wanna go grocery shopping or pick up a chair, pick up a couch, help someone move, whateverrrrr I have a BIG AMOUNT of space in the back/truck bed. Honestly makes life easier man. I previously had a 2017 Grand Cherokee Limited I bought in 2017. Beautiful truck the Grand Cherokee, loved it sooooooo much and I'm sad I traded it in and got rid of it. So sad. But what I can say is now that I have the Rebel, I'm so happy. It sits up higher, like a HUGE noticeable amount higher. I just cruise in style in the winter months man, I feel good and confident. Its AMAZING off road. My Jeep was amazing off road. But what my Jeep struggled to my Ram Rebel doesn't even notice. I also got the nice unique red interior like Ben has in/on his and a nice big screen. I think you would really like a pick up truck Zaki. Try one is my suggestion your choice. But be prepared gas is much more expensive than even a Jeep. My Jeep was $70/fill here in Canada. My Rebel is $120/fill here in Canada. So almost double. But I only fill it twice a month, so while its a lot per fill, per month its still in the budget.

    One thing that is a miss for me with the Titan is the outdated switchgear everywhere. They've been reusing these switches for too long and it really dates the otherwise new vehicle. Many of the switches looked old in 2014 let alone 2021+. The infotainment also barely caught up to the competition outgoing units, which many have significantly updated by this point.
