In Episode 3 of the Happen Films podcast we speak with regenerative agriculture coach Jono Frew. Jono started his working life age 11 in farming and he’s been passionate about the industry from Day 1. But his career took an unexpected turn a few years ago and it’s impacted not just how he approaches farming, but how he approaches life.
As he moved from conventional agriculture to regenerative agriculture, Jono learnt not only that true farming solutions don’t come from a bottle, he also learnt how to cry freely, how to connect with his kids, how to share himself, and how to help fellow farmers steer a new, regenerative course for their own farms and families.
Jono’s an inspiration to us, a beautiful example of how reconnecting with the soil upon which all life depends can also reconnect you with your family, your community and your very self. Have a listen and let us know your own thoughts about the future of farming.

I've been watching a lot of vids on regen AG, Joel Salatin, Elaine Ingham; this interview is a great primer to this subject matter and, i think, a good one to share with mainstream thinkers.

Jono Grew is like a breath of fresh air in the middle of L.A. as my generation used to say...
In the middle of all the turmoil in the world I choose to see the good that's coming through all this transitioning physically spiritually everything is becoming closer to the Earth even if it is gradual. Jono has seen both sides of the issues of farming and I thank God he is now one of us who doesn't believe in using chemicals to solve the problems. Now I wish allopathic doctors would study naturopathy. I'm grinning because I want everything like in the world he described for the future. I have also seen visions of a world where there are zero worries where everyone helps and loves everyone else ... no exceptions.
Thank you very much for this interview is quite uplifting to say the least...!🕊️🌎🌏🌍💜

I love the analogy of humans being like microbes, all performing their unique rolls and feeding and being fed by the tree of life. Being inclusive, sharing knowledge and keeping the fire lit. Great share of a beautiful life journey. Looking forward to building resilience and diversity in the future to come.

This epitomizes the global shift between the old way the human race interacted with nature and the planet to the new way we all have to change to. Its profound and inspirational. It was such an eye opener to hear this podcast. I am also new to farming and i'm going to start my own farm soon. Just listening to this opened my eyes to the microbial life of soil which I didn't even think of.
