Thank you!
You're welcome.
the vinegar one doesn't work but the baking soda one does.
Okay, I am glad to hear that something works.
I cant find the comment, but someone suggested borax and oxyclean. And it WORKED for me! i used about 1c borax and 1/2c oxy in my washer, let it mix with the lowest water settting, then added the stinky clothes. Let them agitate fot a moment. Then let them soak for a few hrs. Agitating them every 1/2 hr. Then finished the wash cycle, double rinse. Im so glad i saved my clothes! Hope this helps someone. I had washed and dried the clothes several times and tried vinegar in the wash. Nothing had helped. Until this!
Well, thank you for watching, and sharing.
Can you define "commercial residue buster for washers" maybe provide a product name or link that you suggest?
Tide Hygienic Clean.
If I have something really really smelly I do three stages. Wash first normal laundry routine, then a bleach disinfectant soap then I sun it lay out. Twice. Air dry or machine dry. Then dryer sheet. Then deodorizer. Then zip lock bag. Then you can wear it. If in a time crunch bleach/color friendly bleach.
???
Bleach?? What is the material isn’t white?
If*
How about coats can’t put them in the washer
@@waysandhow it say dry clean only..
@@2woods2water82 I put them in the washer an they turn out fine
Spray with vodka
Hate that smell I rinse in vinegar and I don’t leave clothes damp laying about
What?
@@waysandhow I'm so confused lol
@@3jtbeat923 i understood what she meant
i never had this problem before until recently :(
Okay, now you know.
I was bullied in high school because of this problem
Well, you can show them now.
I did this and it still smells like mildew... i have washed 3x already... do i just throw all my clothes out? I totally forgot the laundry in the wash for 4 days..horrible
Follow the instructions in the video. Good luck to you.
@@waysandhow 😐 but she just said she did, and even washed 3 times tho...
Have you tried 20 Mule Borax? Sometimes I used it and OxyClean, let it soak a little too, and do two rinses. I’m currently tackling dingy cat marked items now, wish me luck on that lol! Ill let yall know how it works.
@@elleo3441 ...
Never done 4 days before I’ve done 1x multiple times and it stinks cant even imagine 4 days lol
So so so so many steps, but 👍
But what?
Is my washer suPposed to start on fire???
What do you mean?
Yes
Thank you for making this video. Sorry to hear (in this case, read) how many ungrateful people have negatively commented on your video. I think you did a great job. (Most people don't realize that the foul smell is starting inside the washing machine).
My only question is, can using these chemicals (baking soda & white vinegar) break down the inner seals of the washing machine? Please respond. Thanks
No, I don't think baking soda and white vinegar will damage your washing machine.
I forgot to put my clothes in the dryer, now I have to run them through the washer and dryer again and I don’t know if it will work
Hot water always helps.
Wow
He said "effectivity" 🤣🤣🤣
you know that's a word, right?
I had to work a whole week so I didn't have time to dry my clothes(laundromats close early because of covid)
So I washed my clothes but of all days for the first time, the clothes came out wet, I was hoping I could hurry and dry them but after 15 min they were still soaking 😭😭😭
Hopeful me took them to work so they can dry in my hot car but they were still wet when I got home and started smelling after a day 💔
Just wanted to rant 😂
I understand, I hope you learned somethings, and hopefully the video helps. Good luck to you.
@@waysandhow thanks for the reply XD but sadly they still smell. I'm going to rewash some
vinegar and rubber gaskets/seals don't go well together.
research how rubber sap is harvested and you will understand.
What exactly is the point you are making. Where did rubber gasket come into this video?
@@waysandhow theres rubber gaskets in every washing machine, you even mention it in the video. at the 1:22 mark.
LOL. ROBOT CONTENT CREATOR CONFIRMED
Hey dummy- Just combine the baking soda with the white vinegar and stop messing around
I think you are talking to yourself, dummy.
That's a good way of getting a baking soda volcano-washing machine
Gotta love shit roomates
Thanks for watching.
you got a bit obsessed with clothes left in a washer which then changes the subject to clothes left in a washer going musty... which then changes the title of the video.
What?
Vinger
It say dry clean only..
The death penalty of a moldy place or item is mildew remover.
One comment on a single video is enough.
Good Lord, Throw clothing away, To much for old clothes
Thanks for watching.
Don't do the cleaning thing. Mixing different cleaners with bleach can be a terrible chemistry experiment.
Thanks for watching.
I thought this was about how to get the smell out of your clothes not your washer and get to the point already you don't need four minutes of video to tell me 30 seconds or something hands down
Sorry, you are in a hurry. The video was not made for you alone, some people appreciate details.
Leave me alone, who do you think that has tons of money to spend on electricity bills, they smell, but they don't need 400 wash cycles to be clean.
Best of luck.
High efficiency SUCKS. WASTE OF MONEY.
