    Dang, I spent twice the amount on my bike and I didn't even get a Thank You card for buying. This package even comes with a set of tools! Definitely on my list for a purchase. Always need a second bike for friends who don't own bikes.

      Hi, all of our bikes come with an accessory kit that is filled with Tools, shock pump and sealant for going tubeless. We hope you make the switch :)

    Took my new Intense 951 out yesterday for the maiden voyage and by the end I was ecstatic! This bike is much longer than my previous 15 year old MB and today my abs are sore, which is a good thing. I have the feeling that this bike will barrel over anything in it's path and on a downhill, just hang on! The brakes are awesome!!! The Sram shifted well going down but hesitated going up a gear so I need to make a small adjustment there. I'm used to clipless pedals so the flat pedals left my feet all over the place-I'll give them a try a little longer but may install my SPD's. Since my previous bike was from a different era (Gray Fisher Hi-fi Pro) it's a big adjustment going from 3X to 1x, upright position to stretched out, clipless to flat pedals, rigid post to dropper. Let's see, what else? Straight fork to tapered, wider bars too. I call it my land yacht because this thing feels huge but like I said by the end of the ride I was just beginning to feel comfortable on it. My next ride this weekend at Stumphouse Mtn (Wallhalla SC) will give me a better idea about how well it climbs and then I'm looking forward to DuPont State Forest NC for my favorite trails.
    Assembly was a breeze and I was very pleased with the torque wrench set and 3 way hex key. This video was great and gave all of the important details needed to get set to ride. The only thing that I was surprised to find out was the fact that there are no delineation marks on either shock to help you set sag. I was able to go by how it felt but it doesn't seem like too much to expect for some markings to go by.
    Overall I'm very pleased with my new bike and look forward to learning how to ride it better. This bike will definitely last me a very long time and I look forward to taking it on many long rides and then into retirement and lots of travel and new trails.

      Thank you for your feedback and we are thrilled to hear how excited you are about your new 951 Trail! On the shock markings, unfortunately another brand of shock owns the patent to having sag markings on the shock shaft so Fox is not able to do this on their shocks. We are working on a small guide
      to help with this.

    18:10 is very important and was easy for me to miss. this was a source of a bunch of creaking while pedaling for me. I watched this close realized the hex bit needs to go all the way through , engage the rear axle and be tightened counter clockwise to 11Nm .

    I see the rear wheel need to tight to 11N.M at driver side after install. Does the front wheel need to further tight on the other side after quick release level in position? Thanks.

      Just got mine. That’s for the shifter cable adjustment on derailleur

    The top pinch bolt snapped when torquing. Pretty disappointed already but at least I was able to remove the portion that snapped as it had some threading to grab onto

    The bike came with a clear plate attached to the spokes behind the gears. What is that for?

      HI Mark, this is a protector guard just incase your chain drops into the spokes.

    What is the torque spec for the seat collar?

    Got my bike today from Costco. The chain rubs against the frame protector pretty bad by the rear derailleur. I called Intense and they said it's a known issue on the 951 as well as the Primer (they share the same frame) but they don't have a fix for it. They suggested I take it into my local shop to see if they will fix it- at my expense. The person I spoke with at Intense tried to sell me on that it's okay if it rubs against the frame. I'm really disappointed with the experience so far. Has anyone else had this issue?

      @@IntenseCycles1993 Yes, Intense did end up coming through and covering the cost of my local dealer to tune my bike. I really respect them for owning the issue and taking care of their customers. Unfortunately the local authorized dealer was unable to prevent the chain from rubbing against the protector. They even set the crank differently to try to pick up 1mm, but that didn't work either. The dealer said that eventually the chain would rub the rubber protector down and as long as it doesn't rub against the frame, it shouldn't be a problem. The bike is awesome and I'm going to keep it and cross my fingers and hope this doesn't become a nagging issue down the road.

    What about hefty, abusive riders that put a-lot of stress on a frame? Had a carbon Trek fuel. The frame at the bottom bracket simply shattered after a couple months of light XC riding. And the A-holes of Trek, refused to remedy the situation. The 951 Trail, needs a AL brother. Do that, I'll purchase two of'em at once.

      We spend a lot of time in the development process perfecting the carbon layup process, especially in high stress areas like the bottom bracket, seat tube junctions, and head tube junctions. If your frame were to brake due to a manufacturing defect it would be covered in our warranty with a new frame. As for the AL version.....stay tuned.

      Hi Britshell, this is definitely not a "cheap bike" we have used the same frame chassis as other INTENSE models and provide it with a more economical build. We hope that this allows for more accessibility to those looking to step up to a performance mountain bike without making the jump to a factory level build.
