After a month of owning the controller and trying everything I could think of, this video saved me. Stick type true diagonals, whoever designed this controller doesn't play games clearly.

Tactical layout & Left stick max set at .5 for in game settings & tension cranked to the right for the sticks. 2 Paddles for the bumbers & jump/melee upon ‘shift’. Axis independent >>>>
Why axis independent?
Great video only thing I’d recommend is applying LS click to one of the paddles as too not wear out the left stick. I’ve had dozens of controllers and have noticed in cod you sprint and tac sprint a fair amount so applying those will save your sticks in the long run from drifting since every controller will eventually have that problem
Enable auto sprint it helps a lot

Just pay a little bit more to extend your warranty and change this controller every two years when the drift begins...

Been having one for 2 years i love it 🎉
So I just played with this controller for about 2 hours and it takes some to get used to for the paddles but after those 2 hours i felt more confident and played better than before . Im not a pro or competitive but just felt way better

Nice video, I'm not sure if you play war thunder but if you do you should definitely make video on using the elite controller on war thunder. There's a lot of videos on using a controller for war thunder but I haven't found one pacifically for an Xbox elite controller or any controller that has the 4 extra paddles and I find that alittle weird considering all of the complaints about not having enough buttons using a controller for war thunder lol but if you or anyone that reads this knows of a video like I'm looking for please send me a link or whatever it would be appreciate it. But again nice video I hit the like button.

Thanks! I'm playing on Xbox Series X, 120Hz, motion blur and some of the other effects are turned off. I didn't change much other than that.

I return my elite 2 every 4-6 months from left joystick getting loose and needs to be tightened at factory big issue on them once it gets loose or thumb rolls when trying to control.
But that’s been mine only issue is joysticks losing its tensions. Lucky I have Best Buy warranty where every time I return them I just pay $60 for new warranty.
You would think for $200 controllers they would have fixed the joystick problems.
But I only use your settings for my elite 2 a must.
Hi I have a question AL, do you have total tech protection? We pay $200 a year to give everything we buy from them warranty without having to pay the extended warranty everytime. Do you pay $60 with extended warranty or $60 with total tech, I just got mine for Christmas and want to make sure I have warranty on it incase
@@1NECM my warranty is from Best Buy $60 for every return to stay in the warranty protection. So I return my controller usual 2-3x time a year so $60 evey time if I want to keep the warranty going.
$200 a year does that mean you can return your elite as manny times in a year without paying $200 again?
The elite comes with 1 year warranty from Microsoft when u get stick drift u print of a shipping label and they always have sent me a new one back for free I'm on year 2 now do it bout every 3 months...feel like best buy charging you 60 is unnecessary...I might be missing something though

Ive recently purchased an elite series 2 after my dual sense controller broke and the aiming feels completely different and feels like my aim is all over the place and really twitchy. Gonna take some.getting used to, only got my sensitivty on 4 aswell
Definitely takes a while to adjust to a different controller.
thats just the dog shit xbox controllers deadzones, its always been a problem but they do fuck all about it,
If it feels really twitchy try a higher tension. Xbox controller sticks generally feel looser than ps sticks so maybe the middle or higher tension will make it more similar to the dualsense

I can only use 3 I lost one 😢
I have my triggers at 0-97 but locked in the short travel mechanical setup. I'm not sure how to get it to 0-1. I fire quicker, but not sure what I'm doing wrong.
In the app, you should be able to move down to the value that is currently at 97 and adjust it. The two values need adjusted independently. If it won't let you change the 97 value that is very strange.
Sensitivity at a 6🤣 Man I couldn't figure out why I was having trouble in gun fights until I dropped my Sensitivity to 3. Then started winning more of those closer fights.

Black ops aim assist and dynamic should be crazy form what I’ve heard. Haven’t started playing yet ;)
By far the best man trust!! Switching to BO aim assist + dynamic was a game changer with my Elite!
