This video I'll give you a run down of some of the most recent modifications I have added to my beloved The Simpsons Pinball Party machine. It's one of my absolute favorite Stern Pinball machines ever made and I felt I needed to give it a complete makeover to make it really stand out! Some of the items I used in this video are linked below for your reference.

âThe adventures of Americaâs most colorful family, THE SIMPSONS, are transformed into a wild affair in STERN Pinballâs Simpsons pinball machine, THE SIMPSONS PINBALL PARTY. The game features many of THE SIMPSONS favorite characters on a two-level playfield, complete with game modes influenced by various classic SIMPSONSâ episodes.
The object of THE SIMPSONS PINBALL PARTY is to help the citizens of Springfield to party like thereâs no tomorrow. The game features a talking-moving Homer head and Bart on a skateboard attached to a captive ball feature, as well as Itchy & Scratchy drop targets and Comic Book Guy. The garage door in THE SIMPSONSâ house leads to the second playfield level which features a dot matrix color television, a monorail that transports the ball across the playfield and a couch that when filled with three pinballs starts multi-ball.â

I share your love of all things Simpson (been on board since Ullman)and this looks awesome! The new decals, pin lights, all awesome! I would add the music to get Maggie and Marge (easy for me to say). But I think about Universal and how Harry Sheare wasnât involved (obviously more voices), but of all the projects this came out great. Iâm still delusional holding out hope your physical seasons 21+. Great job! Definitely a crown jewel
Iâll more than likely breakdown and get the pinsound board for the extra voices. It doesnât make too much sense financially but as a labor of love it makes a difference in the end.
I remember when you brought that thing home and did the initial updates. Looks amazing with the powder coat, side lights, and invisglass. I think you can do w o the sound upgrade, but it's your machine, Dougie!! đ
@@paulberres9878 itâs definitely come a long way from when I first brought I home. Itâs always fun to breathe new life into these machines
Happy to see so much work being done on these older pinballs. Looks stunning!
@@biochemscott thank you! I think many of these older machines donât get the love they deserve so Iâm happy to do my part to showcase their greatness
I think this is your most impressive project yet. The small touches everywhere shows your passion.
I love love love me some simpsons!
The donut shooter and Lionel Hutz are the perfect touches to go along with the whole beautiful machine.
@@scotchnichols I miss Phil Hartman, so I had to include everyoneâs favorite lawyer on the machine đ
Pinsound with the ultimate sound pack was the best upgrade! All the voices from all the characters you want with higher quality samples. Check it out!
@@darkwing7780 yeah Iâve heard it, does sound great. Iâm just struggling to justify the price tag on that mod for this particular machine
@@cooltoy I love the Simpsons Pinsound on my virtual pinball cab (Visual Pinball). Quite a lot better than the standard Rom sound.
Great work, game looks amazing. About PinSound, Iâm telling ya it gives the machine new life, especially if you have played it with original sound for some time and then upgrade to PinSound, feels like a new game with high quality custom audio package, Iâd say go for it.
Other then that your Simpsons looks like a keeper, enjoy it
Yeah, I'll likely bite the bullet and grab a pinsound board. I've done it on several other machines and I always loved how it sounded after.
Final results look amazing!
thank you kindly!
Amazing work. Looks so awesome
Thank you very much!
Dude, all the upgrades and work you did is amazing! It looks absolutely incredible. I always enjoy watching you work your magic. Thanks for sharing Doug!
Thank you very much, Iâm very pleased with how it all turned out in the end. Now on to the next project!
WOW! It looks amazing, Doug! Fantastic job, brother! I have been looking at Pinlights for my Last Action Hero and think I will have to pull the trigger in them, just too good for the price to pass up! That new topper is awesome ..Just a beautiful game all the way around!
I think you'll be quite happy with the pinlights for your Last Action Hero it will definitely brighten up that Data East playfield.
@cooltoy I will have to start upgrading my LAH next almost finished with modding up my Led Zeppelin machine. Just posted my latest mod install video on Monday.on my channel, still have a couple things that I want to do to it though
Pinsound for sure đ
This is the nicest Simpsons I have ever seen! Congrats! Love all of your mods :D
Thank you very much Erika! It's a labor of love.
Looks Awesome. Great job
Thanks a bunch!
Fantastic job. Love that machine.
thank you so much!
Awesome work youâve done and the pin looks stunning, l never was a simpsons fan back in the day but bought TSPP late 2023 for a steal without and what a game scored ⊠love it
Donât think ld redo my cab as l love the originality
Colordmd is a must
Great work mate đ
@@tedlatomanski7889 the color dmd is absolutely a must have for this game, it really breathes life into the awesome dot animations and is so true to form to the actual show characters
Looks amazing. Great job! Thanks for the video.
@@kjhoskins my pleasure, glad you enjoyed the video!
That machine looks really nice. Unfortunately for me when I found one of these in the wild it was at a casino arcade and it was thrashed, you could tell it had a million plays on it and never got any maintenance. I would say that's definitely a keeper in your collection
I've certainly come across a few machines in the wild that were sadly ruined do to lack of general maintenance. It always amazing me how people can spend a good amount of money on something and then just let it fall to shambles and disrepair.
Let's great!. I have done a couple mods to my friends. I put nuke canisters I made with super bright flashers on top of the back box and tied them to the nuke bumper towers and did a custom lite light kit for the back glass to separate lighting and effects.
Nice! Got any pictures or video of it? Iâd love to see it
Lovely work, better than new đđ.
Thank you so much đ
Looks great CoolToy đ€© Which room is this, your garage đ€
@@stevemahoney5209 yep, Iâve got my large machines in my garage since itâs climate controlled
@@cooltoy Climate controlled... Wow đ
Fantastic!
@@rcfreeman thank you!
Love it looks great love the topper
@@T88-fh9ci thank you, Iâm happy with the new topper, it really looks great when Iâve got the other lights turned off!
Congratulations. This thing is a beuty. Thanks for sharing.
@@snkfightfan0187 much appreciated đ
Vinyl work is stressful. Nice job, man. Looks way better! That original looked terrible by comparison.
New art work is definitely time consuming to do correctly, but so worth it in the end. The biggest factor in if it turns out looking good or not all comes down to prepping the cabinet for the new artwork. You really got to make sure it's clean and smooth as can be.
Who did the powder coating? I need to play it!
I use these guys who are local to me www.mccustomcoatings.com
