I can't even express to you how honored I am to speak with Surgical Tech students at a University! They're the brightest students I've ever met! ❤
Thank you for allowing me to teach yall my "street" style tips and tricks! Lol I'm so impressed with how prepared you guys are and I hope I was able to provide an insight of what it's like in real life!

We also did a mock up surgery and I dropped major tips and tricks! I will upload the visit on my channel! It's very long so it'll be cut into pieces. I had an amazing time and didn't even realize that we went over hours!

I totally needed this today! I am in my first term for the surgical tech program and all of my classes are online. I have been struggling with the self-teaching, but seeing this video and being reminded of what I will get to start learning soon on campus really gave me a boost! This is where I graduated as a surgical technologist 😍😍 been doing it for awhile now and i will say, school is different from actually working in the OR 😅 but as long as you know the basic of staying sterile and opening sterile everything will just come after🤗

What is the booklet you handed out? Can we purchase that to study with?
It's a clinical basic set up guides for when you're about to start clinicals. It gives a baseline on what to put on your set up.

Yes it's hard and yes you will fail if you don't do the work.
You need to do one video for endo/colonoscopy
We dont do colonoscopy in the OR. I think that's surgery centers or GI.
What hospital do you teach in or where is this?

@@TheLibra926 the university I went to visit were nice enough for me to participate in their mock surgery. I only planned to be there for an hr and it turned into 4 hrs! It also fun!
