Koopmeiners is a good player. In the Atlanta game, you could see his defensive and offensive skills. He would definitely make LFC better. But 50 M is sort of pricy.
First signings should be a decent medical team,to stop the annual injury list

i dont think we need another box to box type of midfielder, we need a pure defensive one.
We need a unit of a DM(priority). We need a CB. We need to offer Nunez plus cash for a striker who can put away 7-8 out of 10 chances as opposed to Nunez 2 out of 10 chances.
I think LFC needs to sign starting players in the position of striker and right winger first then sign other players. LFC out of title race because forward players did score goals in recent games.
Or we Are out of the race because our defence often let a goal in so we All season have had to play chatch up and never being able to rest with the ball at the end of the match
It’s because we can’t create in midfield & constantly go behind in games.
Contrary to what most say, we don’t create enough clear cut chances & just randomly smash the ball forward, hoping for the best most of the time.
We definitely need a defensive midfielder to allow for McAllister, Szobo & Ryan to thrive.
We need a creative midfielder as well. No doubt about that.

According to the valuation of players , Teun Koopmeiners current value is 40 million euros . So 50 million quid is a little over priced , by around 15 million quid

I wrote the same thing in the comments of the previous video, the ideal replacement of Thiago between Koopmeiners and Barella is the first one, no doubt about, Barella is a totally different player. About his valuation, Atalanta is an expensive club, normally they ask a lot of money for every single player (Hojlund is an example but also in the years Kulusevski, Kessie, Romero, Bastoni, Gosens and so many others) and the cost could also increase with a good euro cup with the Ducth national team.
About the striker I think the name will be Gimenez, Slot knows him really well, he did a really good season and the cost is probably the half then Osimhen's (but i would go on Gyökeres)

Gomez is the most underrated player in the squad in terms of the value he brings through his versatility and his ability to cover holes in the backline caused by injuries and suspensions. Plus he's homegrown. No chance he's leaving, if they've got any sense.

Why do we need another midfielder that's not a DM? I am not saying our midfield options are perfect but we are so crowded in that area already and could use foward replacements and a CB more

Not really exited with this one. To much money as well. Breaking the lines stats show for atalanta this season. Assists 4. Acc crosses 33%.long balls 56%.Key passes 1.9. Chipped passes 59%. Not great stats for a midfielder. Not 50 million anyway. Decent squad player if we got him for 20 million.
Is signing players that have a good game against us really working out though?
personally, as a Liverpool fan, I don't even care what a player costs, if he improves my team and the club is willing to pay, I am satisfied. Sale is of courrse different, I want my club to get as much as possible for the player they sell. this is why, Salah for anything less than 100 million is out of the question

Cash flow and profit/loss are two different things. You can't operate one without the other. So although the P&L is spread over the years, the cash flow could be an issue if it's required upfront.
I think the Liverpool accountants may know a bit more than you do so I don't think they need your advice 🤣🤣

Well it isn't Slot's signing, its Edwards and Hugh's signing. Slot is a head coach. I hope this works out. Because this head coach ,if not the right players, can be a big failure especially with how great LFC have become under Klopp.
Hoping it all works out. Edwards and Hughs are great people in their job, but at the end of the day, Slot is one in the firing line. People will look at him if things don't work out on the pitch.
Anyway, hoping for the best
He doesn’t make the signings and doesn’t do the contract talks yeah but he still has his say in who we sign. He still has an idea of who he needs and wants for his system.

If slot is only the coach and nothing to do with player transfers how can “slot” make his first signing, Liverpool make first signing nothing to do with slot
We need a DM but I think we'd have to sell endo or send Stefan out on loan because if we have 3 DMs then it's going to stop Stefans development
Thinking 3 players are too much depth is exactly what our problem is. You need atleast 2 players per position in the PL alone. Then there’s FA cup, Carabao cup and UCL aswell. Gotta take possible injuries into consideration aswell and Endo’s age. We need a class 6, Endo will be the back up for rotation and Stefan will just play whenever possible, especially cup games. We also need to avoid giving Stefan too many minutes at once after such a long injury.
Gotta take Endo’s age into consideration because he’ll be gone in a year or two so you need atleast 2 long term options so you don’t end up with just Stefan. I’d get a proven 23-26y old 6 that can start straight away. I’d love Zubimendi but it’s unlikely he’ll leave.
I’d send Tyler Morton on a loan to a PL side. He’s proven he’s great in a double pivot in the Championship, now he needs some PL experience. So Stefan and Tyler could also be our long term options so then we’d be fine with an experienced 6 (26-29y)
I understand that and we do need depth but 3 players for 1 position especially with one of the players being so young just seems a little silly to me because I know Stefan is still only a teenager but he isn't gonna get the experience of the other players like endo unless he plays football so

Barella hasnt got the physical traits and cant press. We need a big physical DM in the prem its needed and its why the midfield is played throughj all the time, Rodri and Rice are physical.
We’ve never had that Fabinho replacement. I think Mats Wieffer can be that guy, a lot of similarities to Fabinho, Rodri and Rice.
@@Larsd69 he isn't physical enough. Geertuida is physical and can cover right back and centre back. Fabinho was a right back that's why he did so well at cover that space.

I said Wieffer has similarities to all 3 of them, he has some of the defensive qualities of Fabinho especially with his length. He’s got the physical qualities of Rice, he can run from side to side and cover lots of ground. He brings control just like Rodri, with composure on the ball and great passing ability.

He can do every single position in the midfield like Ederson, Gasperini often uses them in different positions so it's hard to understand how to prepare the game against Atalanta

John Henry is too tight, Klopp has made the right decision, he's taken Liverpool as far as he can, time to go, as regards big signings, don't make me laugh, Liverpool can't compete on or off the pitch with likes of Money bags city, Saudi money rules, as regards the squad, Salah is in decline, Becker is overrated, give the job to Kelleher, he's the future, jota when fit is a natural goal poacher, Darwin is awesome in patches, I'd keep Gakpo, Gravenberch should be moved on, Endo is jewel, along with Trent AA, Van Dyke has disappointed this season, he's moaned and complained on the pitch so much this season, I'd give the captaincy to TAA, he's a natural leader, and let's blood more of the youngsters, my main hope for next season is that Slot, is given 100% support on and off the pitch, and he gets the players HE WANTS!!
