@@tazzatamania And you win nothing when you reduce your squad so much there are no general back up players to step in when injuries hit. Joe Gomez is easily good enough to play for Liverpool in any position across the back four. He's better than Tsimikas as a stand in for Robbo. He's certainly not mediocre.
@@stetomlinson3146 where did I say that we should sell them and not replace them? Get rid of the inconsistent and mediocre players and replace them. Tsimi was crap when Robbo was injured, Gomez can be excellent and then brain dead the next game, Diaz is no team player who is a poor finisher most of the time and Nunez was bought in the folorn belief that he could be coached into a striker but actually plays best in the left of the front 3, unfortunately so do Gakpo and Diaz. Endo needs to be a back up to a class DM, so hoping that Bajcetic gets some luck. This is a good squad that just needs a few tweaks but the forwards need a major shake up.

Of the 3 front players Diaz was the best and should not leave. Nunez should be sold and if a good offer comes for Salah he should be sold too.

No surprise about Gomez. He's been one of our best defenders this year and has been shunted as soon as others returned. Why would he want to be here if he's in his best form and being dropped for defenders who are capitulating week after week?

I’d say going even if also at end of contract .. salah (cash plus £350k a week wages ) Diaz (cash plus wages ) Thiago ( free plus wages saved ) , matip (free plus wages saved ) tsimikas ( cash ) ,jones(cash ) , kelleher as wants 1st choice keeper (cash ) .. then add that to summer budget of normally £100-£150m and new gaffer got a massive war chest .. to re build.. if Gomez then even more .. we in a good place

All those who believe that Salah is staying should bear in mind it's cheaper to buy a winger when the club selling him thinks you aren't desperate. Edwards could get a winger cheaper and then offer Salah at a higher price as again, we wouldn't look desperate to sell. Edwards is shrewd remember.

Keep Nunez he will shine in a new system. Benfica played a 4-4-2 with Nunez, he struggles as the main striker in a 4-3-3, and possession football. He is far better with quick attacks and running at defences.
Well Slot’s 433/4231 is a different system but it’s also one main striker.. so for what reason will he shine?

Most of the new shirt ok , however was it April first when the collar was designed and approved in my most humble opinion
olise is too injury prone for me, he has amazing numbers when he does play but we need someone to play a lot of games as we’ll be in 4 competitions next year again probably going deep into a couple of the cups. It’s not too bad having one injury prone forward but 2 is a no, whilst we have jota at the club we can’t sign another injury prone forward cus when they’re both injured which will be a few months of the season we’ll struggle
nike isn't the only brand increasing kit prices. All of the new adidas euro kits are around 100 USD for the fan editions, which is similar to the nike kits. I'm happy we're switching to adidas because I think their jersey's have looked nicer in the past couple of years but all major brands are increasing jersey prices to a ridiculous amount not just nike.
Edwards and staff have real work to do on the front line in transfer window
- Diaz has great work ethic on both sides of the pitch and is an outstanding one v one player but just doesn't seem to have instinctive finishing skills.
- Nunez is a fun high energy player who can have an impact on any game, but his futbol IQ hasn't caught up with the physical package and makes sooo many mental errors
- Salah started the year well and his improved passing looked to offset the loss of top end speed, but he rarely contributes defensively and is costing too much for what he gives today.
- Jota has been their best finisher for some time and they WIN when he plays! BUT he can't stay healthy enough to be there when they need him the most. Should remain super sub.
- Gapko is a very bright young man who has good skills and size but doesn't look like a finisher/game changer. He should be given more time because he still looks to have good upside
Edwards is an analytics freak who understands the FSG way. Will be surprising transfer window given that he now holds the final word.

Diaz frustrates me more than Nunez sometimes, and I can't quite explain why. Perhaps it's that I expect Darwin to be a bit mad, often rash and wasteful. But when Diaz came in, he looked like he might actually give Mané a run for a starting position at times. However, since then, I don't feel like Lucho has ever actually got to that level of dominant play consistently, which Sadio always gave us. And his end product doesn't even slightly compare to the prescision Mané displayed so often.
Ouf of the players you mentioned who could potentially go, the prospext of losing Trent would be the one which would break my heart.
I think adyemi from dortmund is a guy Liverpool should look at lightning quick with good finishing and left footed

I get the impression that Joe Gomez would be a much more effective and valuable player in midfield! He of course has NEVER scored a goal for Liverpool, and playing in midfield, I believe he would score his fair share! He’s still young and has a lot of improvement to come!
Luis Diaz must stay, he is great team man on the field, always giving everything, creating assists and has the skills to score goals. He will definitely get better and better with time.
I reckon Mo Salah should be sold, and use the money to buy a young striker/midfielder.
LFC also got rid of the international membership package and is forcing anyone not in the UK to purchase a full membership or premium membership at the extra cost. I'm all for supporting my club, but they're making it harder to show my support by raising costs at every turn.

Working class fans factually create better atmospheres at British football stadia. Over the years, Anfield's atmosphere has deteriorated - go and watch older Liverpool matches on CZcams, and you'll see that. This has happened because poorer people aren't able to attend games because of the exorbitant cost of tickets.

Lot of people are sad over this. Have people forgotten the disaster he was as a CB last season? And he's been average this season, only reason he's getting praised is because every player gets 10/10 when the team wins. And even if he was decent, he still has fitness issues, he's been here long enough and frankly it's time for him to move on. His value has gone up from this season so need to cash in now or else he might go back to being "Dopey Joe" from 22/23 & 20/21 next season.

I would be really sad 😮💨 if Diaz, he is a good reason I am a Liv fan. He excels with Colombia, central reason why Colombia beat Brazil 2-0 (CONMEBOL qualification 2026 world cup), beat Spain and Germany in friendly matches. If he does leave, I think he will thrive.
