Phil only won because city won the leagues. Palmer was way more impactful at chelsea than phil for city, and Palmer's numbers are higher
But if you looked at the start of the season and saw what Villa were doing no one should be surprised that they finished top 4

Cole Palmer would be my player of the season. Even without the surprise factor, he's still been one of the best players, but he was such a unexpected revelation I think his story is remarkable and should count for something.

United. Missing essentially their full back line for most of the season. Well their just not good enough they are a. Now on the other hand we have Liverpool. They were top for alot of the season. They slipped off hard. Their young players did really well credit where due. The old guard comes in and before you know it they are not in top spot. No real slander no shaming, it's just awhhh poor Liverpool. You know they've had a few injuries. Guess we should feel sorry for them. Don't slander them.
Chelsea sat in mid table more most the season. They took a little bit if a grilling became a bit of a joke for a but Poch has helped turn theat team around and has since been removed from management big suprised actually didn't expect that.
Still media coverage pretty tame.
So what is it about United that the media love so much? I can't figure it out. But I have been just on sky sports app alone this year alot I've seen multiple stories about United it's like conspiracy theories level of obsession at this point. If it's not the team it's the individual players, if it's not the players it's management if it's not that then it's owners. Thing is other than the takeover I can't really remember anything good. Other than stories covering the young reds. Someones paying sky to give them the main headlines every day of the year to United. I'm not sure if they are aware that there is 20 teams in the prem.

Injuries my foot. Chelsea and Newcastle had more injuries and still finished above United.

Not having Palmer at 1 is criminal. Boy is running a Chelsea team that has just started to find it's feet, and he's been running it since he stepped onto the pitch vs Forest. The quality, the numbers, the amount of carry this guy has done. Rice hasn't carried Arsenal, nor Foden, they have games where they have chilled and someone else took the lead, I can name you only 2 games that Palmer didn't completely carry the team on the pitch, 2 out of around 34-35 played in the prem this season.
