Hi mate, love your videos. I was panicking about removing my sunroof but then i found you!! You thought about maybe doing an ottinger style 52mm gauge holder for the blanks next the clocks? Been looking for one forever

Wow that's a blast from the past about the Oettinger 52 oil pressure gauge holder. Funny you bring that up, as I'm making something similar for the mk3 Golf at the moment. I'd be willing to make a copy of the Oettinger one for the mk2. Do you know how it was fitted to that surround?

@RestoDesignsnando think it was actually for the mk1, but you'd obviously have to dremel out near the clock surround to get it to fit, that was my plan anyway. I did a bit of further reading and I believe the same kind of thing was an option on some early 90s audi 80s. I found a picture of one but how to upload it!!

Should make a velocity stack to 3" for the MK2 inner foglight hole

@@RestoDesignsnando you mean NOT in the NAR, as we didn't get these...it's a euro model, as we also didn't get the "rabbit convertible" until 79 iirc. We ONLY got the gti in 83 and the GLI(jetta) in 4. Canada got the gli in 81-84. No american production numbers list the cnvetible "gli" in the US at all....maybe cananda, but I haven't seen it anywhere in the numbers either.
