This has to be one of my favorite series, better than any crime series on Netflix haha
I agree, it's so entertaining and fun to watch! Honza and Janek make very good and honest content!
Lolz brachu
It's not hard to be better than Netflix tbh. Most of youtube content is better than Netflix. That's why spend time on youtube and not on Netflix.
The only real scam that happened in this video is that we didn't get our Czech phrase of the day, what we got instead is a German word
Exactly. Nobody wants to know "Wechsel"! What's the Czech word for that? 😄
@@marting.4465 Vyměnit (apparently). At least google translate says Vyměnit peníze for Geld wechseln (to change money) with peníze being money apparently.
@@drstihl2007 that is correct
@@drstihl2007 In fact, "veksl" actually means "exchanging money on the street" in Czech. And the one who does it is vekslák. 😁
@@marting.4465 "Veksl" actually means exchanging money on the street or under suspicious circumstances in Czech. 😁 And the person who does it is vekslák. If you type the word into google, you will see it. And of course it comes from the German wechseln.
As a Polish guy, I am delighted we've got our little mark in the functioning of the city of Prague. Gives me that truly patriotic feeling!
Who said us Poles cannot succeed abroad? We should all look up to this guy. Tough history has built glass ceiling above us, but with vision, will to work and little bit of luck nothing is impossible. Young Poles shouldn't complain but simply follow his example. Czolem Wielkiej Polsce mordy!
lmao
Bardzo dobrze
This Polish guy is nowhere near as corrupt as the Police in Prague and the Government in Prague.......how can crooks complain about other crooks.
Z fantazją trzeba żyć.
Why is every Polish person in the comments apologizing for this guy? We aren’t 6 years old. We understand this guy doesn’t represent your entire country. We understand there are awesome and shitty people from all over. It’s ok. Relax.
We know we have pretty "bad press all around the world" at the moment. It is because of geopolitical situation. This makes us so apologising. Thank you for understanding that not all of us are bad. Thank you for your comment.
I agree, this apologazing for one guy is stupid..
Poles have such a low self esteem that we have to beg to recognize us everywhere or be sorry for black sheeps from our community. Like people would generalize us by the actions of one.
Actually it takes one person to start a negative and the sheep follow actually so I understand why they apologising and they should also apologise for i filtering the uk with there drunken littering and racist ways
@@Geazy31 also UK should apologise for drunk British tourosts in Poland
Good on you all scammers deserve to be brutally exposed
*brutally beat up
Than we need to see all goverments here😂
@@xxxx-ey7rp yeah scamming in itself is sadly very normalised in many eastern europe countries.
Thats also what people in croatia told me, always get an receipt at small stores even.
Its all because of the corrupted UDSSR times. Seems like at least..
Great work guys, keep it up! You are one of the bravest people out there on CZcams and the city of Prague should actually honor you with a statue in my opinion!
yes I was kinda impressed. To call out people on the streets is pretty dangerous and u never know how it will turn out. Really improves the city and it´s actually really cool that the minister of transportation also reacted to his other video. That´s real impact
Yeah he's done more to help tourists with the guides and actively stopping scammers than any officials or police
Shame on them, great work my friend, greetings from Poland..!
as a Romanian it feels so embarrassing to see the way our beautiful country's image is stained by these low life scammers and thieves across Europe.
much respect to the Honest Guide team, i love your work!
Oh bro if only you knew just how bad the Romanian reputation is here in England. Genuinely the worst in Europe, along with Albania. Such a shame because they only know cigani here!
Unfortunately Romanian's are often the reason street crime and fraud is high in European cities. Ideally they should be deported and banned from leaving Romania.
@@stefan2serb i think every Romanian knows how bad our reputation is abroad and it's a shame because there are Romanians genuinely living an honest life and earning a living that get the side-eye from the local people because of these bastards
@@PsychicLord i fully agree with the idea of deportation and ban from travelling abroad if you commit frauds, scams and such. it really should be a universal law
I'm not embarassed, these dudes don't represent me, even though we share a nationality. I think it's detrimental to us Romanians to have our heads down in shame when travelling to Europe or meeting an European. Why should I keep my head down, I didn't do anything, I am just an honest, legally working woman, minding my business. I hope my fellow Romanians would stop this behaviour of being ashamed.
Better be careful, you never know how desperate people might react. Since you’re so committed you should make an official statement at the police about your exposure of the scammers, and then make a special disclosure video that in case ur hurt, who are the persons that might be in disagreement with you, and hope they see this video.
He won't snitch in italy or south america as it will be the end of this youtube channel and probably him to be honest
I`m Polish.
I`m in Prague 10 times a year since 6 years. I trully love this city and I`m really happy to be a part of it`s cultural, music life. Thanks to your channel I`ve visited several cool places and had a lot of good tips. To be honest I`m super pissed about this guy and if there is anything I can do to bring him to justice I will gladly help! Remember, great majority of Poles really loves Czech Republic. I really do! Keep up the good work guys!
do you speak czech besides polish?
@@AleksanderNoFPV i can speak some Czech, but I'm quite fluent with English.
And I'm in Prague currently, till Wednesday morning ;)
@@mehel I am in Poland next to Warsaw
@@mehel you are not fluent "with" english
When you have done such a good job that it is hard to catch a scammer having a successful attempt
Polish guy - Polák, np bro
This series is still amazing, good work guys!
Seeing people get scammed with our very own Hungarian Forints really hurts tho... It shows how valueless it really is :D
at least they have some value contrary to belurussian rubles 😂
I was in Prague a few months ago. It really is a safe city and was never approached by a scammer as I traveled there alone.
I bet 10000 expired belarussian rubles that you are usaian.
I've been to Prague (from the Netherlands) five times in the past two years, and I was never approached by a scammer. Thanks to the Honest Guide's warnings, I knew what to do if it had happened. I also traveled alone. Prague is a safe city, and so romantic and beautiful. I've missed Prague since the day I left!
@@10jpmorgan I am going back to the Netherlands this summer. I love your country so much.
@@joannedefalco8789 You'll be welcome! But watch out for scammers and pick-pockets here, too. We sure have enough of them in Amsterdam, for example. I'm an immigrant to the Netherlands, and I'm still charmed by its culture. But in the last couple of years, I have fallen in love with Prague, also. If I was rich, I would have flats in both countries, and share my time between them!
@@10jpmorgan Have you been to Austria? Innsbruck and Seefeld/Hallstatt are beautiful. I like smaller cities. Sadly, there are pickpockets everywhere.
great content and journalism team. keep it up!!

Well done. I lived in Prague for 9 years and my wife is Czech, thankfully we never ever ran into an issue. Only once did i encounter a person offering to change EUR to CZK after I arrived to Prague in 2010. It’s actually one of the guys in your previous videos.
I like how you are almost friends with those scammers and you know them well. 😀
Congratulations I am extremely excited and happy for you! An amazing catch and interview with Honza! I love you guys!
I love your content. I'm going to Prague in a few weeks and I am prepared to enjoy my trip while also being in the lookout for these scumbags, thanks to you!
Hats off to you guys .. legends .. just feel bad that the cops can’t or won’t do anything much and they still continue to thrive around the city .. continue what you guys are doing .. deserve all the respect and love
at christmas i was in prague, and i met this guy. i asked im if he kenw that what he was doing was a crime and he tried to hit me and then ran. Keep it up guys! Prague is beatifull, and should be kept clear of these guys!
Thank you Janek for all the knowledge you’re providing!
I can only imagine what he thought when he saw Honza recording behind him! I love everything you guys do, please keep it up!
10:38 - I bursted in laugh. Oh god, that made my day.
its weirdly fascinating the dynamic you have with these guys when they're not actively scamming since you both know you can't catch them if they're not trying anything and they can't try something if they know there's cameras on them. obviously they wont admit to anything but the way they share their slimy pride with you and brag without admitting anything is kind of amusing in a fucked up way
Love watching you call out these bandits!
And czech word in the end is ZLODĚJ which means THIEF, ZLODĚJ - THIEF
Thanks mate, I thought I wasn't going to learn any Czech this episode.
Zlodziej*
Luckily it's pretty much the same in polish
We have the same in Ukrainian - злодій (zlodij)
In Polish it's złodziej, 'zło' means "evil" and 'dziej' from word 'dzieje się, dziać się' means "happen", so złodziej means someone who does evil.
'Dobro' means "good", so 'Dobrodziej" is someone who does good things. Dobrego dnia Wam!
The way you narrate this is really superb, very high quality video.
Great work!!
Thats Insane ! Keep it up boys, nice episode
Another great video exposing these scumbags. Good job✌️❤️🇬🇧👍👍👍
Love your content! I will look out for you and the scammers when I visit in May.
I don’t know if I’ll ever have the joy of visiting Prague but I’m so happy you’re calling these people out!
if you live in europe its not expensive at all to go there so you will i have no doubts
Don’t be influenced by these videos. Prague is absolutely amazing, truly a fairytale city. Go with your partner and enjoy a really romantic trip!
apologies from Poland, great episode though
Incredible work Janek & Honsa!
not in one video in this channel, uncovering scammers, this channel have mentioned nationality off a scammer in a title, but they decided to do that in this one, and they gave him a racist derogatory "nickname"
if they find a black guy scamming people is it ok to geave him a nickname "nigger" wtf people
You guys are just real heroes! :D
It’s hilarious
Thanks for the video!
Every big city needs someone like you!!
Keep up the good work 👍👍
Shame on the Police ,for not cracking down on the scammers
The scammers hate and love you at the same time! :)
I really hope I meet you both you and Honza when I come to Prague!!
10:34 - best moment ever! :D

Investigative journalism in action. Good work fellas
Loved it thoroughly
You two are doing really valuable work. Thanks for both entertainment and putting effort into increasing the good in this world. Btw is there a video that showcases difference between the expired currency vs how your actual currency looks like? I think i have seen glimpses of this in your other videos but i tried both google and youtube search and couldn't find that kind of video easily. Should there be dedicated video (or if you guys know who could write article or other kind of text on some site) for it? So it would be easier to educate people how to avoid getting wrong currency.
love the videos
This guy is awesome. He‘s a blessing for society
Bravo another amazing investigative job well done! Can’t wait to go back to Prague hope we run into a scammer and can call them out! ~Cara 😊
What a fantastic vid 😊
Excellent work Netopýří Muž!
Honza filming superb!❤🤭
That whole bizarre discussion with the scammer XD
It was awesome!
I want to congratulate you for your work. I've seen a couple of CZcams channels doing this "vigilante" work, because the laws aren't well define but so many of them fall in this pit and do illegal things in order to "catch" these people which are at best fined by the Police. Don't get me wrong, I do want the exposure so people aren't caught by money scammers or whatever it is they are doing (as said, multiple CZcams channels) but I don't think it's alright for people to try and hit the scammers for example.
You kept it at least most of the times well within the rule of law and acted calm and professional. Big congrats to you guys! Keep up the good work!
We just came from Singapore & we encountered this guy at the db trains train station where we were buying the actual ticket from ticket machine but when we paid the tickets didn’t come out from the machine, I think it’s faulty but it deducted money from our card, so we were approached by him, he took out his money offering to buy tickets for us but luckily for us we watched your videos & avoided him at all cost. Thank you so much for your effort for the videos 🙏🏻💖
Because of you and your crew I could handle one of these guys who did the double ATM trick at Palladium Unicredit ATM😂Thank u Batman
You forgot the final czech word, for which I was waiting for! Great videos, nice job! :)

This is very interesting, keep pulling the thread and it might lead you down an even deeper rabbit hole. Be careful !
im so impress by your work and how your not scare of them
Meeeeen! I really love it whenever you caught them in action and lying with a camera!.. you kicking their asses live! 😁🤣😂
I've never been to Prague, although - I have hear lovely things. This show is so captivating, however!
Please... keep it up - you are a bit of a legend!
Great job

You and Humza have balls. Well done Guys.
great work as always...however, Janek...where is my Czech word at the end?!? 😊😊
Good video!
I love your channel and your country We cannot wait to go back. Thank you for your hard work amigo!
This video truly gave me chills. Their conversation felt like battle between superhero and supervillain but in real life, with a twist in the final where hero outsmarts the villain but the battle is not over yet unfortunately.
As a Pole, I need to say sorry for this guy.
As a Pole, I dont say sorry because my country men are mostly scu*bags that always look for opportunities to trick you for their advantages. I live in Austria and these people are way more honest than Poles
Nopes - you don't have to. You do not represent the whole Poland, nor does that guy. Every country has some thugs.

Det här var mycket bra tack
That bit at the end was hilarious
Great content: it's really impressive to what kinds of insights you are able to get (I'm now watching this series for the first time). Next to that, I was wondering whether the Czech Republic is the only country where this scam happens? I would not be surprised if this also takes place in big cities of other eastern European countries. Or is the currency of the Czech Republic the only one suitable to make a lucrative profit (by exchanging Czech crowns for invalid Belarusian notes)?
well done !

Scamming is a serious problem in the czech republic but besides that it´s actually awesome.
Best wishes from Germany

10:38 is the greatest “it was at this moment” line insertion I have ever seen in my 37 years of existence.
in Philippines we have this scamming LAW. "Article 1338 of the Civil Code of the Philippines states that there is fraud when, through insidious words or machinations of one of the contracting parties, the other is induced to enter into a contract which, without them, he would not have agreed to." and the punishment for scamming in the Philippines?
"(Article 315, Revised Penal Code.) Penalties. The penalty may be imprisonment of two months to 20 years, depending on the amount involved."
The content was great, but the ending is even far greater 😂😂
