🌸Bhagavad Gita Chapter 03🌸
Action is the insignia of Life. Due to the inherent tendencies (vasanas) in us we are forced to act. But how we act determines where we will reach.
In Chapter 3 of the Bhagavad Gita, Shri Krishna explains to a confused Arjuna that though Knowledge may seem superior to Action, it is imperative that both be practiced.
Step by step, Shri Krishna shows how the path of action is a means to the end and what happens to those who do not act. Action when practiced without attachment to its result, purifies the mind and integrates the personality. This makes the mind receptive to the knowledge that leads to Self-realisation.
Swami Chinmayananda puts a modern-day perspective to the teachings of Shri Krishna, helping us to transcend the world of action into the subtler realms of contemplation.

Hailed as the second Swami Vivekananda, Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda (1916-1993) is an orator, writer and leader par excellence, a patriot and spiritual giant, one of the finest representatives of Indian spiritual heritage who spearheaded a global Hindu spiritual and cultural renaissance that popularised the religion's esoteric scriptural texts, teaching them in English all across India and abroad.

Actually no. Geeta, worded like sangeetam, or geet (song), to look at, when for the 1st, when we look at something, once, was a rhyhm, about an encounter (of situations) which was witnessed or looked at or had listened to, saying of a viewer. Like nostalgia was a part of it.
