Sonic can boost in P-06?

So 4ndrelus has blessed us with an update to their eXtended mod for Sonic P-06. In the new 1.6.1 version 4ndrelus added a bunch of bug fixes, but that's not the only thing. In the update they added 4 New Features. Every character can now wall jump just like Sonic and Shadow can. Every character can now grab vines so levels like Tropical Jungle are playable as any character, Sonic can now reach max speed in Mach Speed Sections without light speed dashing, and finally Sonic and Shadow now have the boost in P-06! Just hold down the Right Trigger and the two hedgehogs will plow through anything. (Note: Since boost is on right trigger as the gems its hard to use them. For Shadow it's almost impossible to use his boost as his chaos power over ride his boost.)

that gem sure gives sonic speed but the truth is sonic didn't unlock the boost until sonic unleashed existed

Actually until Sonic Rush cause that's where the boost made its first appearance.
