Thanks. I appreciate that you can comfortably say that you are into dad bods. As a 58 year old my last ex was half my age. People acted like I was somehow perverse. Relationships come in all flavors and you have no problem demonstrating that. That is awesome.

My approach to coming out was this:
I first brought up the whole gay idea around family members, especially when it came to current events. Once I understood how they reacted to that, I figured out how much time and or effort it would take to slowly “ease” them into the idea of at least understanding that it isn’t a taboo or “rebellion” phase, and then if they were still adamantly against it… they’re the last to know or until I am VERY confident with myself. My coming out story is fun(ny) but yeah I was happy and fortunate in the end.
