I've tried multiple other yoga practices on youtube but they were all either too slow or too fast or too stressful for me, opposite of what i expected yoga to be

Yes this was excellent. I especially liked the timing of the instruction and the movement. It seems like usually instructors say what to do, then I look at them and have to wait for them to do it and here you do it right when I look, which doesn't interrupt me

I have a question: Is yoga kinda sorta just messing around on a floor methodically? Like, just chilling in your own mind doing random stretches to feel stimulated just enough? It may sound rude and ignorant, and while I acknowledge there is methodology and pose names to reference muscle groups being engaged a certain way, it seems more more like… vibing with benefits? Is this a misconception I have or is it an idea that references a specific style of yoga?
There is a whole science behind the benefits of yoga. There are different types of yoga as well. This is just a very general easy to approach yoga.
