Dr Evans really helped me… He lost his wife in January, I lost my husband in May, my husband of 60 years! As he would be speaking of his life and what he was dealing with, I too was going through a lot of those emotions.. it really help when you know others especially a man of God is experiencing the same pain as you. Yes he was very vulnerable at that time, and the enemy knows when to attack! He will be ok, God will never leave him, David was a man after God heart, committed sexual sin and had blood on his hands, but God…. The problem is we the people are less forgiving, simple because we place these man of God as God himself! They struggle just the same as we do… God bless him, I’m sure his family are rallying around him, he need that… 💕🙏🏽

I lost my husband 8 years ago, he was 51. I have not remarried , but i have so much in my life to do. Its not over yet! I have children and a new granson to live for!! I missed my husband, but God is not through with me yet!!
You are changed forever after losing your other half. The only positive I found was God. I found God through my pain, grief, heartache, anger, and sorrow. And I'm still standing through the grace of God. Though, the pain never goes away. You learn to function through it, eventually.
This is sooooo true, I lost the love of my life, my best friend, he was it. It's been almost 10 yrs, and still seems like it was yesterday. You never get over losing your spouse, you learn to live with it. You still have this love to give, you love your kids, friends and family. It's the spouse love that you still have to give.

This isn't just experienced when you lose a spouse. Though perhaps not as intimate a connection as losing a spouse, I lost my best friend of 40+ years about three years ago. It was devastating for me, and on some levels still is, as I am a private person of few relationships. The pain of this loss is still with me. Even though I know that we're all gonna go eventually, it's still hard to believe that she's no longer here in the physical realm with me.
Omg to go 2 bed without him/her is not the same anymore...Just being together is a blessing one day he was then not....He's not here anymore never go away...My heart is not same anymore too many individuals gone.. Some individuals find comfort with someone else may end up in relationships not correct... Thank God he gives us mercy/grace it's hard we most continue children family friends just life continues.....
Death is the last ‘enemy’ to be destroyed. Until then we cope the best way we can. Being a believer, a hearer and a doer of the Word apparently has helped Tony. Yes. It takes quite awhile to get used to that side of the bed being empty. I still make our bed as she did, though it’s been three years now.

Can we just get past racism? I'm a white dude and I truly consider Pastor Evans a brother...in Christ and just as a human being. I also think of his family as my extended family and I pray for them all.
That's a talk you need to have with your own race. Racism is alive and well. Two black men were just found hanging on trees 😢
