I like James C Wilson’s voice the best. I can see his voice coming from Godot, easily. I would go with Brandon Potter’s voice, but it’s a lot higher pitched and it doesn’t really look like that character would have a voice like that.
James imo is the best VA for Godot/Armando. His voice fits how masculine he is, I would expect James' for Godot upon seeing him. It's deep and seductive while also showing how aggressive he could be. It's well done.

my question for the ace attorney anime is why didn't they just use ben judd and seon king and james wilson for their voices? i mean that for everyone's actor, not just them. i would've loved to hear the entire anime with their og actors.
Am I the only one who dislikes both the Japanese and English voices in the anime? I was really disappointed by the English voice, it really didn't fit his character, so I came here to listen to the Japanese one... but I can't say that it sound any better. I imagined a sort of.. warm, deep and smooth voice, while the English one is just so.. nasal.
There's two of us then. I had exactly the same reaction, English was a bit off, not fitting. I went to check the Japanese one and... Yeah, it's probably even a bit worse imo. The only worse is probably Japanese Gumshoe. English one is exactly how I would imagine it.
James C Wilson is honestly the best and actually sounds a little Deeper. His voice in the anime makes him sound pure American.

Yeah the anime voices don’t really fit the character, however I do feel James’ voice in-game was really fitting and sounded great
