To cheat or or not to cheat? Let’s be realistic. Most cheaters never really think through the ramifications of infidelity. That’s ironic because the ramifications are always huge. The aftermath of cheating can include
(1) hurting your relationship to the point where the other person doesn’t want you in their life because they can’t let it go.
(2) It can also cause a whole lot of pain and suffering to your partner, the very same person who you once swore your love to.
(3) This can lead to a partner lashing out in anger verbally as well as in other ways.
(4) Cheating can cause a partner to lose their self-confidence because they personalize the fact that their loved one prefered to be with somebody else than with them.
(5) That can make a person feel absolutely worthless.
That low self-confidence (6) can trickle into every part of their life leading to feelings of self-doubt and instability. That’s a horrible way to live. And while a cheater might originally think that they are getting away with something fun, in the end, they might find themselves
(7) experiencing guilt and shame over what they’ve done. Some people of course have no remorse whatsoever to the point where they will blame their partner by saying that it was their fault for doing or not doing something in particular in the relationship. That of course, doesn’t make sense. It’s just an excuse. Those people have even bigger issues that include not being able to take responsibility for their actions.
Back to our list… In general, cheaters tend to be (8) viewed as people with low integrity. That puts a cheater at the bottom of the totem pole of society with people looking down at them.
A cheater might also (9) experience deep regret at seeing the pain that they have caused their loved one, especially if they plan to stay with their partner. It’s got to be horrible to see the person that you love no longer being the person that they are when they are at their best.
Then there’s the (10) fact that all trust has gone out the window. Without trust in a relationship, a couple has nothing. My point is that If you’re somebody who is tempted to cheat or has already started cheating on a partner, even if that relationship hasn’t been the most ideal relationship lately, consider how it could impact your lives. There are certain things that you can’t take back.

What”a bad it’s not only cheating but also:
1) Cheater can’t really tell why he cheated (he or she doesn’t even know)
2) Not tacking responsiblity/ not sorry/ shift blame onto you
3) acting like it’s not a big deal, not understanding your feelings, because they care only about themselves
4) cheater can’t communicate properly, so even if you forgive them something else gonna happen again.

My recent girlfriend to whom I was thinking about dedicating my life to, cheated on me.
What hurt the most was that a day before she did that, on my birthday, she told me "my love for you knows no bounds" and other sweet things so it took my by surprise and it felt like within a night my whole world is gone.
I don't know how to recover because I thought she loved me more than anyone else has and if she could do that than who can I trust.
She broke up with me after I called her out with a list of reasons why our relationship won't workout. Some of those reasons were valid but I wish she broke up with me a few days before finding someone else.
Anyone reading, I'm begging you please don't ever put the person you once loved through such fate, it's still the same person if you wanna leave atleast don't crush their heart in a million pieces.
Let’s have you do a reframe and focus on the fact that you dodged a bullet. No person who is not OK in their head is ever going to tell you that. The good thing is that it all came out to the light and now you don’t have to go through the torture of getting married, having kids, finding out, she’s been cheating on you all along, and then having to divorce.
There are many possibilities for love, including with a person who wants you and only you. Count your blessings and move on my friend!
Bro i know how you feel, i was in the same situation 18 months ago! And i can tell you that once you get cheated on you wont have the same look on the world and people ever again. Because it changes you permanently. And it takes a lot of time to go forward some people need years to recover. But you wont 100% recover ever. Which is the hardest truth to swallow! Yes we forgot everyone is different. And some one can harm themselves after knowing they was cheated on. But that not an excuse to lie to that person… in fact you should tell it as fast as you can with support of a therapist ofcorse.

Not true i care. I cheated and broke the love of my lifes trust. And i been suffering for 3 months now and not wanting to live. I am completely lost. And feel like i deserve hell.
She broke up with me and then right away started datin my ex friend so i guess thats my karma. I dont deserve no sympathy but i feel like i dont deserve to live now. I wish i could take it back. It was my first relationship and i told myself i would never cheat and i fucking sabbotaged myself.

I have been cheated on in two marriages. My first marriage of 16 years ended in divorce. My ex-wife subsequently ended up on the street, later passing away from septicemia, a consequence of alcoholism and untreated diabetes. I paid for her rehab a few months earlier but she checked out after 2 days. My second marriage survived. Her affair and unwanted pregnancy by her boss happened 6 years into our marriage, and took place 23 years ago. Children by my ex-wife and a child by my current wife. I will say this, when you divorce it is easier to forget the betrayal. When you stay in the marriage, the betrayal eats away at you. It’s like death by a 1000 cuts. Probably because she meant everything to me. I adored her (past tense). Maybe if she had come clean, and had confessed to everything, vocalizing her remorse, it would be different. Instead she simply clammed up. Rather the bandage is ripped off quickly than letting it gradually happen or not at all. This only leaves the way open to speculation and dark imaginings.

Since the affair ended we have shared a lot of life experiences, travelled extensively, and educated our sons to the point where they are now thriving in their chosen careers. We get on well together but the circumstances surrounding my discovery of her affair were so traumatic the hurt still lingers on.

I just found out my husband cheated on me. We've been married for almost 9 years. I'm devastated. We have a 6 year old daughter. Why do you do these things? You ruin your spouse. @@chrisitlsame. But in my case I left. Because it wasn't a slip up of he was drunk and it "happened " he planned this and it happened 2 times. And I had to recognize that I knew him enough that I knew he would do it again. So...
Cheating is not just one mishap. There goes a lot of planning and there are a lot of steps to it. If you ever get cheated on, remember that every step along the way the person could have stopped and considered your feelings. But they didn't care. They infact cared so little about you, that you are a clown if you think about giving them a second chance hoping they will care now.

I was cheated on, when I realized the extent of it and how far she went just to be with him, turning our family life upside down...to how she treated me, how truly isolated I was...I was shaken. That was twenty years ago and I don't think I have fully recovered.
Trust is SO important!! If they cheated they have doubts with themselves or yes will blame you for THEIR choices. Remember that confronting them with evidence they have their back against the wall and at the point it’s over! They messed up and they know it. You don’t go looking for attention elsewhere when problems arise you sit and face ME.

Not too long ago, a friend of mine took his own life because he caught his fiancée with another guy in their bed; she thought he was going to be outside of town for a week or so.. but he came back home in less than 24 hours, witnessed what he witnessed and decided to put an end to his pain, a short time after the incident occurred. They were together for over 5 years, almost 6 years.

@@SashaCarrionMindsetCoach yes it does, thank you :( it just gets hard. after seeing unfaithfulness with your parents and then having it continue on into your life, it makes you feel like love doesn’t exist or like it’s not in the cards for you to experience it. i don’t want to be in that dark place but sometimes my emotions and thoughts just take over all my common sense. I’ll get through it though!
@@marilyn.harlow I hear you. Years ago, I had a woman tell me the most interesting story. Her mother kept doing something that would set off her dad. I can't remember if she was cheating or doing something else. It was something that went on for years. When this new friend of mine was 26, her father after all those years decided to separate from her mom.
He thought he would be alone for the rest of his life. Just a few months later, he met somebody. My new friend told me that she still remembered the day that her father sat her down and told her that this new woman was the love of his life.
They would ultimately marry and live out the rest of their years together. When he died, she died 3 days later. There was no reason for her death. My friend believed that they loved each other so much that they couldn't be without each other.
So you see... real love... true love... does exist. You just need to heal your patterns so that that familial cycle ends with you. : )

Cheating basically is because of incompatibility. One partners needs aren’t being met so they go elsewhere. Nothing personal, it’s as simple as that. I would never take back a cheater, because if you do they will see you as weak, as someone who will accept bad behaviour in the name of ‘love’ and they are highly likely to cheat on you again because they know you will stay with them, regardless of their character flaw. Even after their Oscar worthy performance of tears. Everyone wants an easy life, the easy thing to do for yourself if you’ve been cheated on would be to move on with someone else who would value you so much, they would know never to make you look like a clown and humiliate you by making you an option. Some people do and can work it out after a cheating affair, some cheaters do redeem themselves - but I have only seen that with with older married couples who already have kids etc. who have matured and it is rare.
And of course I’m sure you know that these consequences can be highly personalized. Betrayed persons, especially men, are starting to be much more intentional and even vengeful. One betrayed dude did his own PI work and got the affair partner, legitimately, back in jail for dealing. The betrayer was caught on a dui because an anonymous tip came in.

A responsible respectful person even if he or she is attracted to you and is aware you are in a committed relationship they will not engage with you. Everytime I think of what she did I am crushed under hatred, pain, sadness, I've never desired to leave someone and never look back so bad. BUT we have two beautiful babies!!! @@igy648 I have been in your situation too. My man cheated on me with his co-worker in the cruise ship (Sea Princess). Trying to get her pregnant when he could barely support me and my daughter. I found out that he was cheating on me after I gave birth. I felt so much anger, hatred and disappointment towards him because he didn't just cheated on me. He also backstabbed me and my family (to which my parents taught of him like their son). Belittled me and spread lies to his lover and their friends at work that the baby I was carrying back then was from another man and that I let myself get impregnated. MY Family and friends were so furious because they cannot believe that he can make up stories just so he could get what he wanted (sex with his co-worker and assuring her that he chose her over me).

I was married for 25 years until my Wife passed 6 years ago! I was 100% loyal to her!
Before that, I was in a relationship for 5 years. I was loyal to her as well. I found out after
the fact that she had gotten screwed by at least 10 different Guys whilst we were together!
Funny..she would act so jealous sometimes. But 2 years after we split, I met this tall, beautiful
Girl of Irish descent! She was 3 1\4 years older than myself! I fell in love with her in pretty short
order and we were married the following year. That was October 1992. It's been 6 years now and sometimes I still have to cry myself to sleep.

Money either I have a csf leak and since I am basically disabled and even so I still try to please him he cheated on me and went on grindr behind my back. I could go into a coma and have brain death from my brain leak that I have but no one cares I wish I could at least have my health back I would give anything to have it back. If you care about them at all, know that you are beating up their loved one, friend, companion... ,by beating yourself up too much. Guilt..guides us in life, as well as many other things. If you can think of it as a toxin that you are choosing to be in your and your partners lives, then you maybe able to nip it in the bud, every time it enters your mind. The amount you harbor on it can be spent in positive ways instead, thinking about ways to enhance yourself and your partner is so much more empowering and healthy for BOTH of you...and your future , including family or future family and friends( furry ones and not so furry) Get in the driver's seat of your life and drive down better roads. Forgiveness, forgiving yourself in some monumental moment...is over rated and complicates chit and easily forgotten in today's world. If anything, vow to do better TODAY and let them add up to a different you... A you, that you will be proud ...of and other's might also. "KISS"( Keep It Simple Stupid) Don't feed "stupid" once you recognize it in yourself and others, be humble ( we ALL do stupid sometimes in our lives)and keep moving forward, mentally, physically( if able), spiritually... My wife told me she is in love with someone else on our 6th anniversary, then proceeds to tell me she wanted to continue developing her new relationship whilst keeping the marriage; her logic was that because this and that reason, therefor she deserves my openness about her relationship. She openly announced that we were 'separated' and then told me that she would only be loyal to her new lover (who she had virtual contract for one year and only met in person once). We have a 5yo son. I don't know how to face him.

I can able to understand your pain bro.. because for loved I did everything for him.. finally he's cheated with..another girl. Another girl also knew he's loving me almost 4 years .. she said it's okay leave her..he's also betrayed me.. I gone through toughest phase in my life..the pain I got can't tolerate. I have been cheated on quite a bit. I know how it feels, do I wouldn't do such a thing. I would rather leave than to cheat. If One can't stay loyal, then one should discuss options of having an open relationship. If I cheat, what values would I be teaching others or my future kids? Kids learn unconsciously. My stepfather took me and my sister's to a camping trip with a single lady with a kid from his work. Then after that, I remember my mom wanting to leave him. I didn't understand why because I was so young. After I studied astrology, I realized he prolly cheated on my mother l because my stepfather is a Taurus and since Taurus is usually so busy with work, they meet romantic partners thru work. Cheating doesn't just affect the partners. It also affects everyone around them.

My now ex monkey branch and cheated on me throw away our 6years of relationship i was devastated when i found out because we never have a problem we always work it out and thought we are compatible the disbelief and anger i felt was beyond comprehension the betrayal, deciet and lies are unbelievable..its about a year now and my pain and resentment does not lessens. I feel your pain I got cheated on too..but to make things even harder for me the girl who cheated didn't leave it would have been much easier knowing she left me but she wants us to get back together as soon as possible and that's even more confusing she s been pleading for us to get back together and I really want to give it a try

I believe trust in relationship is overrated. After my husband was always making calls at night , I would ask and he would just wave off those calls as unimportant.I couldn’t deal with all his lies anymore at some point. He cheated on me lies to me and yet doesn't feel any remorse. Just before going to bed tonight he was on the phone I heard him clearly say goodnight, when he came into the bedroom I asked him who was he on the phone to, and saying goodnight, his answer was the dog he said goodnight to, I said to him, you was on the phone, he then says he was checking his bank balance. The dog doesn't have a phone, his bank balance wasn't up on phone history when I asked him to show me, he only brang it up when I asked to see it...what's he up to?
