    Alcaraz never gave up during any point at all, great on him. He just needs to fix his sudden drop of skill level during random points of the match, but he always find a way to miraculously recover from them 😅. Humbert wasn’t bad either. He played gentle sometimes on important points, but still played well.

      @@drtrouble3899 agree, but I think Carlos has faced players who have played extremely well (Tiafoe, Humbert), Novak has had the easiest draw so far. I think Carlos has looked incredibly strong mentally, Jannik didn't convince me against Shelton and was lucky to he done in 3. The big unknown to me is how Novak will play against better players. I will update the stats after his 4th round.

      @@pureffm sinner is having better shot quality in this tournament than Djokovic and carlos , even Medvedev is having better shot quality than carlos except fh, regarding shot quality it will take even opponent strokes into account, so sinner has best chance to win the tournament actually
      Can alcaraz beat Paul???

    • @pureffm
      @pureffm Před 7 dny +2

      @@raghumanda2tanush496 Yes and no, Carlos has a beter ratio of winners to unforced errors, but his placement is not as good as Jannik or Novak:
      Alcaraz Sinner Djokovic
      Placement 13,9 14,5 15,2
      However Carlos has the best placement rating over the last 3 rounds excluding R1:
      Alcaraz Sinner Djokovic
      Placement 13,6 14,9 14,4
      So I think Carlos is improving, and he has also faced two players who really played hard and had great ball placement in those last 2 rounds, so let's what those QF matches to confirm this trend.

    • @raghumanda2tanush496
      @raghumanda2tanush496 Před 7 dny

      @@pureffm it's likely that Djokovic and sinner will have better placement as they have better wingspan, it's only because of slice and surface inconsistent bounce, carlos is playing great on grass if not, he would never beat Djokovic
