I love Kintsugi. The concept is beautiful. Being broken, then going through the process of repairing ourselves. The gold paint that highlights all our faults, also makes us beautiful again. I love your houses. So cute and individual even though they’re alike. Lol. I’m glad Ephys catching up on his sleep. He’s adorable.
Beautiful!! I love the concept of “kintsugi “- embracing the imperfect!!
Wonderful! So full of techniques and inspiration.
I love your little kintsugi houses
Such a fun way to decorate envelopes and a great way to use Gel prints. Love the collaged portion you added Barbara ❤
Such lovely kintsugi papers and cute pockets.❤
Great idea using the envelopes for houses 😊❤
They are perfect, Barbara. I love the crinkled look. Thanks for sharing. 🙂❤️
Love this technique. Ephy seems happy in his new Santa hat, quietly observing his bestie! I am really enjoying your sense of humour, Barbara, ( we can hear your little giggles, so fun!)as much as the projects!❤from 🇨🇦😊
Barbara - I am so glad that you mentioned 'highlighting the imperfections'! My kintsugi IS an imperfection with highlights!! 😂 However, I shall try to carry on. 🧡💚🤎
Absolutely love the freedom you had in designing these without perfectionism! They are fabulous! Hugs ❤ jane
Love love all your pages.❤
I love the houses. I never heard of this before. 🤗
I had to laugh when you brought out the big gelli plate and huge brayer, and comment to remind you of when you were first learning to use the gelli plate, and Luisa was like "stop! what are you doing!" 😂 So sweet. How far we've all come 😊 I laboured so hard over an intuitive spread lately. Was so pleased to birth that one.
OMG so true. Haha that Gelli plate video with Luise! 😂😂😂
With you we learn something new every video! Beautiful! ❤
As always, wonderful!! Thank you, Barbara!
Beautiful 🤩🤩🤩
I have learned so much by watching Dephemerember! Thank you for all that you teach. Beautifully done! ❤
These turned out really nice. I like them a lot. 😊
So pretty. Thank you for the inspiration
I love kinsugi and the method of fixing the broken and embracing the imperfection into a new life. Loved the video.
I really like the added buttons!
Beautiful papers, beautiful houses and beautiful tags! Even without Ephy! 😉 Love from Rita❣️
These are incredibly beautiful 😍
Love this so interesting!
Love the houses!
Lol, I love your conversations with Effie! 😂
❤🇲🇽💙🇺🇸 Gracias por compartir tu arte y tu creatividad 😊
I love the grungy look of your papers as well. Gelli plate prints are so fun.
I adore these Kintsugi houses and really enjoyed following your process to construct them. I always love when you incorporate these techniques into your projects. They add elegance, but always alongside your flavor of grunge that I find simply scrumptious. Hugs from Ky, USA.
Love your kintsugi houses Barbara and Ephy, the button/fabric scrap collages were the perfect finishing touch! 💕🇨🇦
Hi Barbara. Didn't have a clue that something like Kintsugi existed even, before today. Very interesting concept and love how it works perfectly with junk journals. I absolutely love love the 2 tags.
Love your kintsugi houses and the way you added them to the journal side by side. Thanks for the inspiration!
Great technique. I love the way Ephy is so helpful.
This is my absolute favorite color of nail polish! And you have the most beautiful hands on CZcams! I know this is a frivolous comment, but I've been wanting to say it since I started watching you. I usually don't like to comment on appearances, so I'm glad to get it said.😄
This was an inspiring and informative! Pretty! Thank you! ❤
Thank you! I have my mom to thank for my hands 🙈❤️
I love this technique, love the gold.
Barbara, these turned out fabulous! TFS!❤
At one point you said "be careful not to tear it..." Since the theme is about highlighting the history of the piece and adding beauty to the repaired portions you could actually tear the paper then "repair" the tear. That's the good part about this type of project. You were so cute..."lets find something for a door..." (looking through the scraps) "oh, I don't want to tear this one, Oh, I don't want to use this one, it's too pretty...." haha. I have the same problem! Glad you decided to use the piece you did. I LOVE it for the doors. Hugs from Texas.
Ephy is a bit of a Diva!😉☺🥰
I think so too ☺️❤️
Such a cool technique. I love these cute houses 😊
So beautiful. I just love this gorgeous technique. It is so lovely and meaningful! Hugs to Ephy 🤗❤️
This is an amazing technique & looks so great - TFS
I love how your houses turned out. So much texture!❤
Mein Gott sehen deine Ergebnisse genial aus!!! 😍😍😍 Ich bin ganz verliebt darin!!! 😍🤩👍😎
Love this very old yet beautiful technique ❤
I love the soft beautiful and gentle way you carried out this style your house s are just Soo Soo dreamy...
Baby girl, you're SO good! You should teach classes or do tutorials or something... 🤔 ...oh wait!! 🤦🤭😂🤣 I'm so proud of you!
(Before I forget... I got my click alpha stamps yesterday! Mama's very happy!)
Your house are so beautifully Kintsugi! I love them! Wouldn't it be wonderful if we would highlight our broken-but- mended parts!?! 💔💔 Girl, I EARNED these stripes! 😭🥹💪🥲🙂😁👏
Love you, angel! Hugs, MomK 🤗❤️🌵❤️🤗
Aaaaw you are the sweetest, MomK! ❤️
Enjoy your Alpha stamps! 😃❤️
Love this effect. Another great video
Oh my goodness ephy is looking super cute with his new hat!!!! Looking great so far. I have a gel plate but I’ve been too scared to start but I started watching ceri Griffiths aka ceri the crafter he’s so informative now I just need to clear up a space to lay it all out. Not scared anymore just trying to finish a few projects before starting another new one.💚🖤💚
I’ve had a new one for over a year. Every time Barbara plays with hers, I think I can do this. I talk to Barbara. She gives me confidence. Then I don’t do it. I have a large one also. I have all the supplies (I’d love some large stencils). I need to just DO IT!! Lol. We need to both do it!
@@angelaarnold4255 yaassss! I’m in a massive coffee dye paper session, so I have papers drying everywhere the last few days. I do the lazy girl away and leave the stack and divide it out after a couple of days. Makes em nice and grungy like I like. Plus depjemerember… plus holidays plus work plus the book. I’m working on for a girl at work. And my massive swatch project. That’s not including all the other little things that life throws at you but gel plate printing is on my list. 🖤💚🖤
Those Gelli prints are fabulous!
GORGEOUS Page! I’ve learned so many new techniques on this episode and so inspired, can’t wait to try them out. And it’s a perfect page next to Ephy’s page as those are the houses he will be “trick or treating or carolling” to. So it’s still all about him. I see he hasn’t even changed out of his costume from the other day, poor fellow must be so tired with all the Dephemerember excitement. Thanks again.
Haha you are so cute! ❤️☺️
I'm glad you explained this prompt. ❤😊
Such a beautiful way to add pockets. These houses are great! I do love this concept so much
I love your Kintsugi houses and can't wait to use your technique. Using a simplified color scheme when you made your gelli prints was a smart move because it made your two houses cohesive.
Very nice houses.🤗💚💛🐼🐼
I enjoyed this project very much. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦
Another wonderful video 🥰👏👏👏
Oh Barbara, I loved watching this simplistic, yet elegant approach to this prompt. It's fabulous! TY so much for sharing, now to see what Luise does with hers....xo from San Antonio!
they are adorable !!! can't wait to try this!!!!!
Fantastic job and I enjoyed watching you do your gell papers ❤
Beautiful houses and I love your talks with Ephy
Always enjoy this series ❤
Love it
Love this new technique
I love this so much. Thank you!❤
Great job on using irregular pieces for the collage part of the journaling cards! You are brave! The whole project turned out very cute and fun. ❤
Beautiful houses.I really love your collage on your tags.
How cute that you and luise did the exact same thing for the Christmas meets Halloween prompt!! You are true crafty sista’s!!❤
😃❤️
This is the first that I have heard of Kintsugi and absolutely love the layout. Love watching you create with the gelli plate!!
I love your houses, maybe add house numbers with yours and Luise's numbers.....sista houses for Dephemereber! I love the envelope idea.
Aaaaw that’s such a cute idea! Thanks! ❤️
I love how these turned out. I envisioned you tearing things up but you went in a much more controlled way that still captured the visual effects of kintsugi. Luise's scraps made very appealing doors indeed. Your idea for weighing down the roofs worked really well too, without actually fiddling with a closure. I feel like I want to make something very similar. I treated myself to a large gelli plate recently too because I love them so much and want to be able to print whole pages for my journals.
Brilliant as always xx❤❤❤
I love your kintsugi houses❤
Very beautiful houses. ❤❤❤
Love these!❤❤❤
What a great idea I have heard of kintsugi but would never of thought it could be incorporated in such a creative way, I am now excited about this prompt, instead of terrified 😂, thank u for this creative idea ❤❤
This video was very enjoyable to watch. Kintsugi Houses are fabulous. I must try this technique. I do have a large jelly plate. Another fantastic prompt done on your list. Wow time flies.
Beautiful💙
Barbara: a very clever idea. And so well done! Carol from California
The whole process was so interesting to watch, and the results were lovely. Thank you for the inspiration!
Really beautifully done🥰
Love your house envelopes!
We are aslo huge fans of the Kintsugi philosophy! Lovely spread and thank you again for showing the Asemic and Aqueous stencils!
Thanks so much! 😊 Just love your unique selection of stencils! ❤️
Such cute houses
I love your beautiful houses!
Beautiful
Hi Barbara. I have seen this technique, and it’s actually quite beautiful. Your rendition of it is very lovely. See you tomorrow. ❤😊
Love the houses!!
Great tips!
Hallo Barbara, super schöne Häuser hast du da gebaut. Könnte glatt aus meinem Haus ausziehen und eins von deinen einziehen🥰. Diese Umsetzung ist einfach großartig👍.

😃❤️
Great work as always. You inspire me with the ease of creating! 🤙
This was very fun and inspiring to watch! I created my own take on the prompt, while watching your process. 😊
❤❤❤
Beautiful Barbara! I do love watching you work! I’m definitely gonna follow your video on the Kinsugi journal you made! Love and hugs!💗💗💗
Love this! You are helping me become just a bit closer to using my gel plates. Not sure why I feel so intimidated to do so. Thank you for sharing such great ideas!
You can do it! 😃❤️👍🏻
This is my favorite page so far, love the inspiration and the meaning and history of kintsugi. I must also admit though, I was glad to have a little break from Ephy in every page. He is a cutie, but as you said, it not all just about him ❤
Still playing catch up with the videos. Such a busy time.
I loved this one. Love that you made new papers for this.
Barbara, I love learning from you. I’ve never tried gel prints but I can see how it would be very addictive! Your houses are darling!
What fun! I remember a house you made long ago with a similar design-but more pink, I think. I love the concept of kinsugi.
