This was a great video - you did a wonderful job explaining & demonstrating all the steps. I have 4 swimsuits with rubber elastic that has failed. I replaced the elastic in the first one yesterday and will do the other 3 today. I really appreciate your help!

When you are serging the edges you can simply just add the elastic at that point instead of serging the edges & then zig zagging the elastic on.

Crayola ultra-washable markers generally wash out well. I have yet to find a washable fabric they don't come out of in the laundry.
Alcohol can damage synthetic fabric over time.

Does the neck hole method work for all sizes that a neck hole could be? For example, what if the neck hole I’m working on isn’t all that deep?

Thank you! Do you use stretchy thread?
I like how you speak slowly and explain with details. I think that it would be more useful to instruct beginners at swimsuit sewing with saying that the elastic needs to be a certain % of the leg opening or back opening instead of eyeballing how many inches to reduce the elastic length. Beginners are not usually skilled or confident with eyeballing.

I love the creative content you put out. I was wondering if there's anywhere to buy 100% cotton material in Jamaica. I have allergies where I can't use certain fabrics especially polyester, and unfortunately most of our clothes out here are polyester. So I wanted to try to buy some cotton material to have my clothing made instead. Any idea where I could?

Just what I needed to fix the inside of some old running shorts!
Question: so I have a regular sewing machine and when I use the zip zag stitch on the stretch fabrics the stitches jumped like 2" away and then another 1" and so on..
Is it a case where I need to use jersey needles or ball point needles?
And what kind of needles do u use to get those perfect stitch?
Yes I recommend using a needle specifically for stretch fabrics. Those types that you listed work pretty well 👌🏽
