Thank you, Julie. For ages I've felt a bit of a fraud following the posts without really being a planner. But now I realise I have been in a way. For years I have kept Filofax with notes of appointments, blood test and blood pressure results etc. I can now watch you, Erin., Becky and Leah with some sort of affinity. I don't do so much now I am retired but I still have religious meetings and diabetes checks to keep a note of. Thank again and I look forward to your next post. 😊

There's definitely been an upswing in people going back to personal rings lately. LindseyScribbles has this same one too that she's moved back into and then someone else as well, can't remember. It's always entertaining to watch planner fads and how they swing back and forth all the time lol! Usually just starts with one person and boom! I can't keep up most times!
I love real leather! I'm always so afraid to say how much I like leather because I don't want to get the backlash from people. Leather is such great quality! I just turned 46 so I'm in 80s kid and a 90s teen so back in the day people used to get made fun of for wearing fake leather or pleather and now it's the other way around. Leather people are judged harshly.
lol I remember those days! There are some really get faux leather options out there but I do think the prices have gotten wild lately. I just stick to what I am comfortable spending
@@JuliesPlans absolutely! Pleather is so expensive and ooc. I have a leather shop in my town and I am purchasing leather from them to make my own cover for my planner. 💯

I love the original Filofax. I like my planners simple.
Same! Most are way too many bells and whistles that add to the weight, the bulk, and the price that I know I’d get annoyed with sooner than later. This is my all-time fave model of Filofax.
My Filofax ‘the Original’ planners are my fave style of Filofax. The purple patent leather one is on my wishlist!

thanks for the flip through! I've been low-key thinking i'd like a rings planner as a place to keep reference collections that are still relevant to me over several years, instead of moving them from book to book or threading between books.
Yes! Rings are definitely useful for that!
So interesting to see a few other people also move back into rings! I feel like I was huge in 2018-19 ish. But mostly a5, and now pocket and personal size seem back! I’m not a big ring fan size I’ve been in discount’s for so long, and am newer to hobonichi options. But I love collecting ring planner covers 😂 it feels so vintage 90s to me!

100% agree that rings can be time consuming! I think that’s why I only use mine as a reference planner, so I’m only setting it up once a year (no need for weeklies & dailies). One day, when I’m not such a paper snob I’ll be brave enough to order pre-printed inserts 😂
