    Huion pen display user too here. Don't worry about the heat, every pen display user that I ask also have some heat build up too on their display tablet. I'm currently using Huion Kamvas 13 and the heat comes from upper right corner (with buttons position on the left). it's normal and not something to worry about.

    Incredible Hinata model!
    I also really like her hoodie. Generally, I find modelling clothes really interesting, because in contrast to something like skin, there usually are many layers, folds, seams, stiches and knit patterns involved.
    Could you please make (how about two) tutorials, sharing your cloth modelling techniques?
    I propose the first tutorial to be about blocking in the overall shape and design (you might have a different workflow for skin-tight and loose clothing).
    The second tutorial would then be about adding details.
    You have a big portfolio of characters and do excellent work, to say the least. That's why I would like to see you go through each of them, curtly explaining how you approach different designs and different kinds of details.
    If you were to make these tutorials at the same level of depth as this hair sculpting tutorial, it would be an unbearable amount of work. However, if you instead opt for a more theoretical, rather than practical manner of teaching, you could cover all your techniques with reasonable expenditure. Personally speaking, I usually don't need a full hands-down walk through process to grasp the concept. Of course, it's still a lot of work on your side.
    Please let me know your thoughts on my appeal. Clothing is a very multifaceted topic and one where I can still learn so much from you.
    Should there be anything unclear with my proposal or need for specification, don't hesitate to ask.
    Have a fantastic day!

    Since you said you’re working for a company creating figures. I assume you mean physical 3D printed ones. Would love if you can show us some things to think about when making models for 3D printing. I just started out learning and still watching a lot of tutorials for basic stuff. But all of the tutorials I’m watching is gearing towards making functional models for either video or games where they eventually will rig the models to animate them and for example they model the eyes separately to be able to animate it later. But I would guess making models for 3D printing is much different from those models made for video or games.

    • @Yudit1999
      @Yudit1999  Před 2 lety

      Honestly, I don't really know how 3d models for 3d printing works too. My job is sculpting only, the engineering, cutting, making it ready for print is done by different artist. I often got guidances from my lead artist if what I make is too thin for example and I need to make it more thick. I myself don't have and in-depth understanding on how 3d models for 3d printing works. All I know is just the general stuff, for example for collectibles you can't make the hair with particle system cause that would be useless anyway.

    • @zhaf
      @zhaf Před 2 lety

      @@Yudit1999 ok yeah I understand. Thanks for replying anyway.
      So if I were to create a model that I want to print I would extrude the model inwards to create thickness for the 3d printer?
