Rabbi Daniel Lapin Salaam Alaikum! I wish to take this opportunity to thank you for your kind and generous address and good counsel to the people, and I pray that you may be rewarded highly in the hereafter by God (Allah) the Owner of Existence and Creator of all dimensional worlds and us his material earthly servants are just in one of his dimensional worlds!!! I have benefited a lot from just two of your kindly videos and am looking forward to watching more, inshallah! (God willing) you have understood the hikmah (wisdom) of God very well and know wish to share it as this is a natural wish for us as I have learned in my religion of the great benefits of sharing knowledge and terrible consequences of keeping it to oneself! One small point about fear - it is only the enemy if it is not applied in the correct way - let me try to elucidate exactly what is meant here; it is only the enemy if it applied to fear any created phenomena because the moment we fear that phantom or thing that in essence doesn't possess any power of its own we have given our self to that thing or become compromised and in the very least have become enslaved to certain degree to that thing which is just a created phenomena like us. But if we realize that it is just a creation of God and we should only fear the One that created and is King (Malik) over it then we have maintained our dignity in servitude to God alone and not anything other than God... I really liked what you said about the ears and the balancing system has been placed in the intricate mechanism of the inner ear as a sign from God to us the importance of correct hearing over visual stimuli, incidentally when you place somebody in an M.R.I scanner and you look at the different areas that light up when somebody is listening to speech or even music the circuitry is at least twice to very much more times the amount than when somebody is simply looking at an image through the eyes only!! I was also very interested in what you said about the correct response pathway of how to react to the outside world through the internal resources that Allah aza wajaal has bestowed us that we have to spell Ma.Li.K in our responses as much as possible and not the reverse Ka.La.M.ity which will as you reminded me will bring Kalamity. M. is representing the mind equipped with spiritual Truth, Knowledge and Wisdom from the King of the Universe (God Almighty) and then L - emotions flow from this and finally Ka - the body which follows the correct emotions that we derive from the correct mental processes that are underpinned by the true teaching of God found in the pristine form of the Abrahamic religions of Judaism, Christianity and of course Islam which is the root religion of all the Prophets because Islam simply means Submitting to our Creator. So by definition, a good Christain who is doing the will of God is, in fact, being Islamic! as opposed to the when we are practicing Ka.La.M.ity which is the dynamic of the Ka - the body (lusts and material greed) calling the shots and we can see the problems that that has manifested in the world that we live in because of that! In the Islamic tradition, we call the Heart - king because it is the boss and the mind - the minister as it should do what the boss is saying which is a correct teaching because if the heart is wrongly programmed with false knowledge then the mind and everything else will suffer and sometimes equally bad is when the mind tries to overpower the heart - the consequence resulting in our decisions will have a tendency, to be selfish inconsiderate and cold or in the very least lacking, because the decision process was devoid of the hearts contributions (another ugly manifestation of why we are such in a mess and why there is currently so much sufering and injustice in the world - may Allah guide us ameen! The final Prophet of God (Muhammed rasulallahu wa alayhee wa salaam - peace and blessings of God be upon him) said; "Verily there is a piece of flesh in the body that if it is good then everything that comes out of the body will also be good, but if that piece of flesh has become corrupt (bad) then everything else that comes out of the remaining parts of the body will also be bad, verily - the small piece of flesh is the Kulb or the Heart." So we learn from this that the most important part of the body that we must take care of his our hearts and what we must feed it spiritually, emotionally and intellectually only with what is good and wholesome and what has been sanctioned by God in law and for God sake let us eat only nutritious foods for the rest of our remaining short life here on planet earth as we are what we eat and our bodies is also a trust (amanat) from God so let us not abuse our bodies in knowledge that they, just like everything else in life was a special trust and gift from God - and ultimately God knows better than us...

Dear Copperhouse, I am blessed with an absolutely astounding library--I call it my workshop. And of course in these videos you see only part of only one wall of bookshelves. There are another six! What is more, it is so well used that I occasionally entertain my children by finding any book they name--while blindfolded. I know where every book is because I use every book. On the other hand, I watch zero television. But I think I'm ahead of the game. And more importantly, so are those who hear me speak. Cordially~RDL
Rabbi, I too have a (love) of books I have 8 regular book cases that are over flowing with books and sadly I have books in boxes!(crying that they are not yet in bookcases.) I dream of the day when I have a big enough room and to have all my books in bookcases from floor to ceiling! I thank the middle school librarian for getting me starting to read. I wish to take this opportunity to thank you for your kind and generous address and good counsel to the people, and I pray that you may be rewarded highly in the hereafter by God (Allah) the Owner of Existence and Creator of all dimensional worlds and us his material earthly servants are just in one of his dimensional worlds!!!
I have benefited a lot from just two of your kindly videos and am looking forward to watching more, inshallah! (God willing) you have understood the hikmah (wisdom) of God very well and know wish to share it as this is a natural wish for us as I have learned in my religion of the great benefits of sharing knowledge and terrible consequences of keeping it to oneself!
One small point about fear - it is only the enemy if it is not applied in the correct way - let me try to elucidate exactly what is meant here; it is only the enemy if it applied to fear any created phenomena because the moment we fear that phantom or thing that in essence doesn't possess any power of its own we have given our self to that thing or become compromised and in the very least have become enslaved to certain degree to that thing which is just a created phenomena like us. But if we realize that it is just a creation of God and we should only fear the One that created and is King (Malik) over it then we have maintained our dignity in servitude to God alone and not anything other than God...
I really liked what you said about the ears and the balancing system has been placed in the intricate mechanism of the inner ear as a sign from God to us the importance of correct hearing over visual stimuli, incidentally when you place somebody in an M.R.I scanner and you look at the different areas that light up when somebody is listening to speech or even music the circuitry is at least twice to very much more times the amount than when somebody is simply looking at an image through the eyes only!!
I was also very interested in what you said about the correct response pathway of how to react to the outside world through the internal resources that Allah aza wajaal has bestowed us that we have to spell Ma.Li.K in our responses as much as possible and not the reverse Ka.La.M.ity which will as you reminded me will bring Kalamity.
M. is representing the mind equipped with spiritual Truth, Knowledge and Wisdom from the King of the Universe (God Almighty) and then L - emotions flow from this and finally Ka - the body which follows the correct emotions that we derive from the correct mental processes that are underpinned by the true teaching of God found in the pristine form of the Abrahamic religions of Judaism, Christianity and of course Islam which is the root religion of all the Prophets because Islam simply means Submitting to our Creator.
So by definition, a good Christain who is doing the will of God is, in fact, being Islamic! as opposed to the when we are practicing Ka.La.M.ity which is the dynamic of the Ka - the body (lusts and material greed) calling the shots and we can see the problems that that has manifested in the world that we live in because of that!
In the Islamic tradition, we call the Heart - king because it is the boss and the mind - the minister as it should do what the boss is saying which is a correct teaching because if the heart is wrongly programmed with false knowledge then the mind and everything else will suffer and sometimes equally bad is when the mind tries to overpower the heart - the consequence resulting in our decisions will have a tendency, to be selfish inconsiderate and cold or in the very least lacking, because the decision process was devoid of the hearts contributions (another ugly manifestation of why we are such in a mess and why there is currently so much sufering and injustice in the world - may Allah guide us ameen!
The final Prophet of God (Muhammed rasulallahu wa alayhee wa salaam - peace and blessings of God be upon him) said;
"Verily there is a piece of flesh in the body that if it is good then everything that comes out of the body will also be good, but if that piece of flesh has become corrupt (bad) then everything else that comes out of the remaining parts of the body will also be bad, verily - the small piece of flesh is the Kulb or the Heart."
So we learn from this that the most important part of the body that we must take care of his our hearts and what we must feed it spiritually, emotionally and intellectually only with what is good and wholesome and what has been sanctioned by God in law and for God sake let us eat only nutritious foods for the rest of our remaining short life here on planet earth as we are what we eat and our bodies is also a trust (amanat) from God so let us not abuse our bodies in knowledge that they, just like everything else in life was a special trust and gift from God - and ultimately God knows better than us...

Wondershare is video editor, if the user used the system for free, then their logo appears to where they want to place it.
I am still thankful that, Dr. Lapin was able able to utelise the system for the free and share his wisdom.

Dear Copperhouse, I am blessed with an absolutely astounding library--I call it my workshop. And of course in these videos you see only part of only one wall of bookshelves. There are another six! What is more, it is so well used that I occasionally entertain my children by finding any book they name--while blindfolded. I know where every book is because I use every book. On the other hand, I watch zero television. But I think I'm ahead of the game. And more importantly, so are those who hear me speak. Cordially~RDL
Rabbi, I too have a (love) of books I have 8 regular book cases that are over flowing with books and sadly I have books in boxes!(crying that they are not yet in bookcases.) I dream of the day when I have a big enough room and to have all my books in bookcases from floor to ceiling! I thank the middle school librarian for getting me starting to read.
