- The Western Bulldogs have seen off Carlton's version of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, holding firm in the face of a spirited Blues comeback to salute by 20 points at Marvel Stadium.
A solitary goal in the first half cost Carlton dearly in the 11.13 (79) to 8.11 (59) loss, with the lead changing four times in a pulsating final quarter, the highlight a stunning Arty Jones snap while running away from goal towards the boundary.

A shocker of a game turned into a thriller 😩😩😩 Dogs must love playing under pressure 😂😂😂 If Dogs were more efficient with the ball in first 3 quarters, they could’ve blown the Blues away. I thought JUH’s aerial work was excellent, Bailey Smith and smalls like Arty Jones had pivotal impact, Scott 3 goals, and Liam Jones was outstanding out back. Dogs are in the Top 8 now.

Can’t make Top 4 if you’re inefficient with the ball for majority of the game and letting teams back in. They had opportunity to demolish the Blues! Recovered well in Q4 though.

This game could've been a thumping if the dogs didn't fumble up in the first few QTS, It was a good comeback from the blues, but as usual they blew it... Matters worse their gonna get demolished by the pies. I see no further finals for Carlton this season honestly, the are crap the season
