Pretty even contest up until the 4th quarter, seems to be the new thing this round with the favourites dropping off in the last, first it was Port now Collingwood. The scoreboard flattered Collingwood in the end, they were beaten badly around stoppages thanks to Bont and Treloar.

Premierships come off of availability as well, Collingwood have been way to injury riddled this year and it’s showing in the last quarter, yes the dogs have a boatload of injuries but our usual clutch players like Pendlebury, Elliot and Mihocek have all been absent
We have so many clutch players out Richard’s, Naughton, JJ, Libba, Smith, Weightman, plus also Scott, Gardner and Coffield, plus Harmes and Vanders lost in the game

Please remember Collingwood was out with hell of injuries. If you say it’s an excuse, I honestly don’t mind it to much. Cause we definitely could’ve putted the game to bed in them first quarter, just bad kicking is bad football.
So well done to dogs to hand on in this match, just stopped us completely last quarter, probably we got tired or something just didn’t stick right.

I don't barrack for either team, and yet that to me looked like a really wasted game on Collingwoods part. By far played better and executed their game plan really well. The dogs just wanted it more though! And despite some favourable calls or lack of calls going Collingwoods favour, the pies just couldn't make the most of it and as a result looked a lesser sum of their premiership part from last year. Looks to be a a single quarters efforts that can win a game against Collingwood, not easily but if you can stay in a game long enough a get a run at it on your terms, its achievable. Well earnt win for the dogs.

All that said and done, it was a great and well deserved win to the Doggies.

Worst umpiring ive seen in a while. Looking after bont much so many calls for in the back that should've been called and bont was the bigest offender i would have called in the back at least 6 times. Let alone how many other did the same thing. It seems when umpire's get pressure to enforce one rule they laps on another. From what ive seen for some time now thre way games.
