  • 1959 Chevrolet compilation 59 Chevys ONLY 1959 Chevy Impala, 1959 Chevrolet BelAir, 1959 Chevy Nomad wagon, 1959 Chevrolet Impala convertibles, 1959 Chevy El Caminos & 1959 Chevy Impala Sport Coupes, 348 V8s, LS3 V8s, 283 V8s. Samspace81 filmed in United States of America. I've had several requests for a 1959 Chevy Impala exclusive video. I've worked with several 59 Chevys & came across them at car shows I attend, during classic car inspections and classic car cruises. These cars were filmed over the course of years, from Texas to Arizona, New York, Minnesota, and Michigan. You'll see lowriders & original OG cars, also restored Impalas and restomod Impalas. These classic 59 Impalas, a BelAir, Nomad, and a 1959 Pontiac were filmed at events like Woodward Dream Cruise 2018, MSRA Back to the 50s classic car show 2019, Goodguys Summer Nationals, Goodguys Spring Nationals, and Dallas Autorama. Thanks for following Samspace81 channel, your traveling Texas classic car guy & CZcamsr. LIKE & SHARE, COMMENT, good or bad, it helps tremendously. I love your feedback, it helps me make better classic car videos.

    I was 4 in 1969. The 59 Chevy was the car that grabbed my attention the most. I'd see them on the freeway and stare at them. If I was 4 today, I probably wouldn't even care about cars. They are so ugly.

    Sam. I think this maybe the best video yet ! The engines , the paintwork , the detailing, magnificent ! The black Chevy paintwork was superb. I did a bare metal repaint on an Australian Charger in black 40 years back😨😨 It did remind me of that. The customer was so pleased he gifted me a gold pen and biro that l still have. I shudder to think how much those bumpers cost ! Thankyou again Sam.

    What are the differences between Bel Air and Impala on a 59 Chevy? You can tell the differences on 60/61/62/63/64/65 etc.. the biggest giveaway is the badge on the side obviously and tail lights, but on 59 apart from the badge, what are the differences virtually on the outside?

    • @samspace81
      @samspace81  Před 3 lety

      In 59, the Impala would become a stand alone model, not a trim package on the BelAir

    • @bruceh92
      @bruceh92 Před 3 lety +1

      The Bel Air 2 doors had a b pillar post but Impala was hard top - no post. Biscayne same as Bel Iar. That's the easiest way to identify. With the taillights sorry I haven't figured out that one.

    • @nitro74cs
      @nitro74cs Před 3 lety +1

      @@bruceh92 Thanks a lot mate, now I understand. I was referring tail lights as an indentifying example on later models like 64,65 Bel air would have 2 tail lights on each side, on the other hand impalas would have 3 on each side. But on 59 tail lights are single piece. Cheers.

    The 1959 styling was somewhat controversial. The 1960 Chevy was a toned down carry over from 1959 which featured more conservative styling and better accepted but the car buying public. GM cars featured styling excess in 1958 and 1959 but Chevy went too far with their 1959 model. I think they saw the light and even though the 1960 model was carried over from 1959 being the GM was ioperating in two year styling cycles back then the 1960 styling of most GM cars was so changed from 1959 they looked like different cars and much better looking the their 1959 counterparts in my opinion.There was a Hugh evolution in car design from all manufacturers from the beginning of the 1950's through the 1960's.
