    Indeed is it a doozy of a bump. I’m incorporating this as a possible finisher in my moveset and damn it’s tough to perfect from the top rope. But thank you for the further instructional video. I’ll definitely work on my aim

    I used to do the leg drop from top rope.
    Loved the way Bobby Eaton did it.

    Imho, three of the best top rope leg drops I've ever seen were;
    1), Beautiful Bobby Eaton
    2), Black Bart
    3), Sabu
    Over the years I've seen a few try to do it and managing to screw it up. Joey Kaos, I'd rank your leg drop as absolutely one of the best of all time, a tribute to your dedication and skill. Thank you for showing me how to do it right.

      I preferred the way Psychosis threw it as opposed to Sabu, tbh. But this is a solid list nonetheless.

      @@gregpickett8816 Thank you. I haven't seen Psychosis do it enough to make an honest evaluation, but I respect your opinion.

    I love the top rope leg drop (specially the ones used by Bull Nakano, Ryo Mizunami and Matt Hardy), but sadly I have scoliosis, so I can't even do a normal leg drop :(
    But this is wrestling, we adapt and do something instead!

      In theory yes if it was done badly.
      Jumping short of target could mean the heel coming down across the throat could crush the larynx or too long or off centre could mean a weighted high impact to the skull.
      As stated start learning to gauge you distance and aim from the floor and build up. Also when possible train moves on a dummy first (you can't hurt them).

    • @SantinoBros
      @SantinoBros  Před 4 lety +8

      Great explanation. I back 100.
      Most of Pro Wrestling is extremely dangerous and could have disasters results if not done correctly. That's why its frustrating when people call it fake cause of the outcome. We all agree it's predetermined and we'd be insulting the fans intelligence if we claimed otherwise. What we do is art, and art is not suppose to just look nice, art is supposed to make you feel something and that's what we do. We drive emotions, we make people laugh, we make people cry and we really touch their hearts. Pro Wrestler's are artist who take extreme risk for the sake of entertainment. RESPECT.
