- Description for Bounce Light Video:
A short one that turned very long because I thought my commentary was worth while. Apologies for the kids yelling in the background towards the end.
Regardless, this test was meant to examine how the size of a bounce source can change the quality of light on your subject’s face.
As I explain in the video, I bounced the 300d into this large white cabinet case and used that as the key light on my face. For each scenario, I walked the light in closer to the cabinet, making the bounce source smaller effectively.
In the end, I’d say the results were subtle, but it was enough for me to ramble on about at the end for 10 minutes.
Let me know if the walk through commentary was interesting at all.

to confirm, you raised ISO or shutter or something to compensate from the distance and getting enough level for the exposed image, correcT?
I only changed the output of the light to match the level on my face. No other camera settings were altered.
