    The problem here is he didn’t teach soccer mom in a mini van how to use a seat belt through the handle of a 20lb cylinder and then buckle it up and tighten it to prevent it from becoming a projectile in an accident. I’ve done it that way for years and the tank is secure and safe. Some vehicles have small trunk space such as the Montana

    Good info and fantastic acting. 😉 I drove to U-Haul to have my propane tank refilled. However, the employees at the store told me they were not trained or authorized to pump propane and I'd need to come back, and to call in advance to make sure an authorized propane person was working. Come on U-Haul... train all your people.

    We called our local U-Haul and they had no idea what we were talking about when we asked for the Tank foot or Easy Go 😞 Thank you for sharing 👍🏻👍🏻

    The only mistake in my opinion was the guy in the truck when he secured the 100lb tank. He went from corner to corner and the tank can tip over when he’s turning left. He should have looped around the tank and anchored to the same corner to keep it snug from all directions.

    Billy Bob just puts it between his legs in the passenger side of truck while Jim Bob drives. That way LP is safe and Billy can hand Jim Bob a beer when he runs dry. It's not safe for the driver to be fishing around in a cooler while driving. Safety first.

    Everything else I have read indicates that you should never transport the cylinders in the passenger compartment.

  • @arresteddevelopment2158

    Ratchet straps?

    • @Cobalt135
      @Cobalt135 Před rokem

      Of course, now most are cheap china made straps that I wouldn't trust to hold my 100 pound tank upright in the stupid traffic that surrounds us all. Im strapping it standing to satisfy all the BS and 1/4 mile down the road stop and laying it down on the trailer and making sure it is secure. Much safer if you need to stop quick or have an accident..
