    These days, it seems that many restaurant open and close. Whenever a new restaurant opens, many people want to try it. But after the hype ends, and the marketing budgets are reduced, it is only your repeat guest that will help keep your restaurant open.
    You have many ways to increase repeat guest. By being active on social media, by forming a community or using a loyalty program. All these are great options. But let us look at the softer parts of the restaurant experience in this video.
    One of the simplest ways to improve repeat guest in your restaurant is to ensure a positive experience. an example of this may be A kind deed done by the waiter, or a chef stopping by on the table to craft something special. Kindness and personalisation can help guest return back to the hotel.
    Here is something for you to do today. Scan through your most positive guest feedback, where they have mentioned the name of the team members. And then check to see if they are repeat visitors. Chances are that they will be repeat guest. They may be coming back for the service they get from your team.
    The next way to bring guest back is by being consistent in your service and food. Have a few dishes which do not change on the menu. The reason is that when guest are not in a mood for experimentation, they love comfort food. Most repeat guest want a consistent experience and wish that their meal is good.
    They want to walk in to a restaurant, be recognised by someone, eat food they are comfortable with and go home. If they get these, they are more likely to become repeat guest.
    The third and final way to get guest to come back is to end the meal with a superlative experience. Develop a departing gift or a experiential dessert in your restaurant. If possible for any special dinner, let the guest take the menu back with them. Looking back at these at home, will create a sort of recollection and positive memories about your restaurant experience. That in itself will create a craving to revisit the restaurant, months later when the meal is all but forgotten.
    So these are the 3 steps to get repeat guest in your restaurant. Implement them and see if there is any improvement in your restaurant revenue and repeat guest percentage.
