    I'm glad I've seen this video, I've got a Porche 911 model car that's got one of its lenses missing, they were those little diamanté style lights you git in some of the older model cars , but if I can't find a replacement , I think I'll use this idea ... brilliant tip thanks ☺👍

    I think you need a vacuum pump, maybe make a bag from the two halves by cementing them together? Heat and pump, bag shrinks to shape. Someone could start an industry from this.

    I'm not into customs, but, this is a nice tip for smaller LEDs, which can leave different brights on the just drilled holes.

    Are you using the leds from Nick? and how do you glue them on the lenses? Just a drop on the led? And what glue are you using then?

    • @WheelsNThangs
      @WheelsNThangs  Před 3 lety

      They sure are. The lenses are glued with window maker glue and I hot glued the lights to that.

    I would try something like this but I just can't stand the acrid smell of hot plastic! I tried something similar to this once and the result just about knocked me down and caused a burning sensation in my eyes!

    • @WheelsNThangs
      @WheelsNThangs  Před 5 lety

      This has zero smell, I'm assuming it was thinner plastic and got too hot.
