It looks like SM's the only company that can afford singing lessons.
no it's just that sm care mostly about singing so trainees are required to look fixable (for surgeries) and good at singing while HYBE's.. you just need to be lucky tbh (katseye are the only one's good at singing and dancing at the same time although according to koreans they look ugly but it doesn't matter since they'll be promoted in the west) yg kind of care about rap and how long you are willing to be a trainee there cause they never debut people or have comebacks and jyp care about star quality and dancing and you either really know how to sing there or you just straight up suck (but I guess you'd have to have something else you're good at)

its weird seeing all the other group encores then coming back to this. other groups seems so nervous from their singing to their expression. aespa are just so confident with their skills.
They are from SM. Of course they can sing live.
I heard for some idols encore stage is almost like a punishment. this actually makes sense because like you said, some of them just seem nervous when it's time to sing their parts.

Between the performance lipsyncs and the boring choreos and concept, these girls were done so dirty by SM. I'm glad they are moving towards a more organic direction because their talent is undeniable

에스엠 남돌 여돌은 모두 앵콜때 다들 여유로움. 워낙 보컬이 탄탄해서 타팬들이 보더라도 안불안함. 아무리 아이돌이더라고 가수면 노래잘하는건 기본인데 에셈이 그 기본을 매우 잘하는 소속사라 생각함

Recently I saw so many people praising/hyping their fav's live singing (even for encore) but it's not as what I expected. I guess some people's definition of good/great/amazing live vocals is different. Anyway, congrats aespa for Spicy's 3rd win today, including 1st win in mcountdown!

They're praising their fav artists (not aespa, but I also enjoy their songs) for singing live & saying how amazing their live vocals are, but when I watched the said videos, I can hear how pitchy/out of tune they are although they were not dancing. I don't mean it as comparisons to aespa, but my comments are based on those particular videos of the said artists. Probably it's just the artists' bad day.

How can they sound better than the studio version? I am obsessed with this video, it sounds even better with earphones on. They are so talented and they look so happy on the stage while looking at the MYs in the crowd (which kind of makes me emotional considering it took so long for them to be get the chance to perform in front of fans because of the pandemic), I love our girls so much they've come so far! 확실히 보컬은 진짜 스엠이 넘사다..1세대 때부터 전통있는 보컬의 명가..진짜 걍 음원 튼 줄; ㄹㅇ 네명 다 성량이 빵빵하네. 거기에 음색까지 너무 좋아서 듣기가 편안함. 스엠은 보면 모든 팀이 엄청난 보컬스킬, 성량, 음색을 모두 완벽하게 갖고 가는 게 참 신기해...

these girls don't seem to be afraid of singing live even in encore they hit every high note , i wonder why their company was making them lip-sync...? like what is the reason , they can sing and they r not afraid so let them sing ffs...
To preserve their vocals, they'll be singing live during concerts, year end music shows, other paid stages etc
I really dont mind idols who can really sing do this lip sync sometimes. Coz when they need to do live, they are capable and not a scam 😂. Others are using AR just to hide their flaws, not these girls

Look I've heard all the great groups of recent times singing after the victory, and I can clearly say that these girls from Aespa were by far the best when it comes to singing live, that's insane man, they sing live sounding like they're in a studio that big it's the quality of the girls' vocals.

진짜 이번 신곡은 감동이 있다... 그동안 해왔던 광야 잠깐 쉬어가면서 기대했던 청량 여름곡을 들을 수 있게 된 것도 좋고, 항상 음방 첫주만 뛰느라 음방 라이브는 들을 수가 없었는데 이번에는 라이브도 하고 앵콜도 하고 대학 축제에서도 라이브 잘하고... 그동안 못 했던 것들 과소평가 받았던 것들 다 사라지고 애들도 편안해 보여서 더 좋은듯
