great technique, super relaxed and it comes through in your playing. Only thing i would say is make sure that after the bass run those notes are legato (long) and there is much less space between them. it's something thats very typical of swing style walking bass lines and expresses that old school jazz feel much more. Happy practicing!
Soundsss noice, I've been trying this run for about a year and still unable to do it, so GG to you for being able to do it that smoothly! What version of sir Duke is it, btw? It's pretty sure it ain't the original by the intro and outro And also, is it me or is there a bit of a timing error at 0:17? Not sure tho
Its the original version. I just isolate each instrument, add my own bass, and then mix them togerher. I just forgot to enable the vocal track when i exported the audio 💀. Sorry Stevie 😭
@@enesgasi3329 Lovely. I'm on a look out for electric bass guitar with narrower neck and this look quite like the one I would be able to work on. I'm a total newbie but made a sentimental mistake by going with an acoustic bass as for the first bass to learn with. Boy....you can guess the struggle. Thanks for sharing. You're super duper good. Hope you post more vids playing bass. Have a nice day. Cheers!
Nice tone. Jazz basses can do anything.
Thanks, they really do anything
Can’t do my taxes 😒
@@scoobert4500not with that attitude they cant
@@scoobert4500You just have to let them attempt it

damn this bass tone is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Shout out to the Fender pick perfectly matching the bass paint job... 👍
That little guy is vibing there all the time
Thank you! This is a great visual aid to learn this lick with. Seeing the hand in different positions was a big help.
So clean perfect tone and touch!!
you're amazing !!

This is amazing 🎶🎶🎶👍👏👏😊
Mais quel son !!!!!
Bravo !
Très bonne prestation .
Merci .
CLEAN AFFF
Nice tone! Nice Groove!
Very tight. Also the pull bar being on top and the subtle pick are making me wanna build a utility belt on my bass lol
I love playing this one on a 5 string. I start normally, down the neck, but after the initial climb, I stay up near the 12th fret
AAAAAAAHH SO GOOD
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH
very clean bro
this is a great tone! imagine this with a bit of breakup or some fuzz...
Man playing this in hs was so fun, but the whole band cant even play it full speed so we have to play it slower 😭
Wow Man, i wish i started to play in high school...
@@enesgasi3329 when did you start?
@@zeth4107 3 years ago i started playing, but mainly i was a guitarist. Only recent summer i have become a proper bassist
@@enesgasi3329 that’s dope man, i started in middle school and didnt take it serious until high school
Ironically , you don’t mention the bassist’s name who played the track . Nathan Watts

부드럽구나!
I think the most impressive part of this video is the usage of your pinky
Fr and the way it doesn’t fly off the neck
This is the first time someone has appraised my pinky finger. My most underrated finger by far.

What color is that? Looks way better than any sunburst to my eyes
I think its Midnight Wine.
