Great game from Cleverley. Thought he provided a really good option for us to feed the ball through and retain possession, not scared to receive the ball in tight areas. I'm getting pretty excited about this England team and with Johnson, Wilshere and Rooney hopefully back in time for the next squad things can only get better.
It's a very good performance in terms of what job he had to do within the team. Lampard and Gerrard were attacking a lot so he had to sit back sometimes and be the connection between the defence and the attackers - not all the time but quite a lot... his delivery was amazing and his vision was... Scholes-like. I bloody love the kid. Wilshere and him would be like the Xavi and Iniesta equivalent for Spain!!!
Cleverley in this game played as a number 10 Kagawa fav position is a number 10.Cleverly was nearly released because he wasn't good enough, Gary Neville said it numerous times.Busquests is one of the most impotant players at Barca.His workrate and discipline for someone so young is incredible,His self-less attitude and positional awareness,y quick across the ground, and despite his rather thin frame, strong on the ball. He is composed on the ball, and also fantastic in the air.

All be it against relatively poor opposition, the passing in this game was the best I've seen from an England side for years. Cleverley was certainly instrumental in this, not just through his technical ability, but also his eagerness to have the ball and provide options. This is something England players seem to have lacked for quite a while - desire for the ball

He did really well in this match, we need a player who can keep the ball like that! But let's not get ahead of ourselves, this was against Moldova who put absolutely no pressure on him when he dropped deep to receive the ball. Better nations will have a man or two closing him down the instant someone passes to him meaning he will have to up his game. Will be interesting to see him against Ukraine tomorrow night!
he needs to improve his accuracy in passing the ball this applies for long and short distances which he will , he s a great player . hope he doesnt pick up any injury , he has been not lucky but i feel this is his year seeing as Carrick is old and Scholes wont be playing every game , we UNITED depend on him a lot this year , good luck to him . he has changed a lot , got more mature and in style in a good way , i love Tom and Kagawa's style of playing , smart ppl playing with their brains .
He is a real talented player, only lacks finishing abilities. Hopes he progress as time elapses ! ;)

I'm not hating im giving an opinion,Cleverley is massively over rated and my point was valid.No England fan rated Heskey didnt stop him getting 62 England caps so people saying he is playing for England and Hodgson rates him again isn't really valid.
Moses is bought because he is young gives Chelsea something they dont have which is natural width and speed.Actually RDM and Michael Emenalo are big fans of his that's why they bought him.Cleverley gets game in a weak central midfield with little competition..Again harsh to compare Moses started 1st game of season for Wigan and had not joined Chelsea till 3rd game of the season but couldn't play because he wasn't registered in time.

There is know reason why Cleverley cant play as a no10,if his passing is so superb and so his awareness etc that position should be perfect for him.Even G.Neville said that position would suit him best that's why they played him there. Busquests is a fantastic player and is very good technically just is limited to showing it.Does he really to great technically for a DM? not really.
England have lots of talented players,wilshere,cleverly,ox,walcott,wellbeck etc.they have to atleast win one world cup. But they have an average manager. Roy Hodgson is good but not world cup winning good.

Lol Busquest got into a fantastic Barca side at 17 he even got infront of a player who i use to think was the best CDM in the world in Javier Mascherano.I rate loads of English players,just because i don't think some are excellent technically doesn't mean i don't rate them.Why do you think England are so poor at international level as a team? your one those fans who listens to everything the TV tells them.According to you a guy who is good at short passes makes them great technically.

I rate so many English players i could be here all day, I doubt i will change my mind, he is what 23? never seen anything special in him .His finishing is awful and the fact people were trying to claim that he meant that goal last week is laughable. Wasn't it the Ukraine game they were slating him? Was he ever really highly rated when he was young?
