I’ve got that feeder on my grow on tank courtesy of @Lau Magro who bought me it as a present for growing on her tosai… so far it’s working without fail so we’ll recommended Dave 👌🏻

Been using one of the p7000 feeders for years mate , great bit of kit and simple to set up , although you made it look hard 😂😂😂😂batteries last forever aswell 👌👍👍👍👍👍

Great feeder. Ive had mine running for 2 years now and batteries still going.
You can also adjust the feed units for the 3 times tou have set, in case you wanted bigger feeds in the afternoon for example.
Great video Dave, Same feeder as mine. For what they cost, you could have 2 or 3 of them for the cost of some of the others. My only gripe is the on the spot placement of food, which can sometimes cause fin damage etc. I got round this by placing it in an area that has good flow to distribute the food around.
Another minor thing for me is you can't choose the times in frequent feed mode. All you can do is choose you start and finish.
Other than that it's a very good priced feeder, holds a decent amount of food and does the job👍

Nice review Dave. Just curious, have you tested the actual weight of food in its lowest setting? And what size of food pellet mate?
I nearly bought that one but I’m sure it said its smallest feed was 30g, which is too much for my puddle just now…😊

Hiya buddy. So each single setting came in at between 10-12g on mine (jpd shogun 6mm) so in theory, lowest setting for a single feed is 10-12g 👍🏼

Unlike the UK access to auto feeders here in Canada is extremely limited with the Fishmate P7000 being only one of the very few available for use on koi ponds. I recently installed one of these on my koi pond and so far it is working well. The koi have seemingly learned where and when the food will drop and wait (or at least seem to) for each feeding. Dazzle Koi did a very detailed review some time back on this feeder for his koi pond which is well worth watching. (czcams.com/video/5xcipwXR0Ek/video.html&ab_channel=DazzleKoi). I'm happy with mine and so are the koi. 👍🏻
