- BEST WATERFALLS IN GEORGIA! Hiking Tallulah Gorge State park in the North Georgia Mountains.
Tallulah Gorge State Park is located 90 minutes north of Atlanta, features several miles of walking trails with great accessibility for all. The gorge is 2 miles long and more than 1000 feet deep, featuring several waterfalls, swimming holes, campsites and picnic areas.

I have so many fond memories as a kid, of this amazing place! We would visit every year with the YMCA out of Athens, Ga and hike down
into the gorge for a nice swim!!

I love waterfalls! I have hiked so many of them here in New York! It was so nice to see this one in Georgia! The suspension bridge was cool! I love the history as well.

@@AliceFordAdventures Yes, so many great hiking spaces! I live at the foothills of the Adirondacks and the mountain hikes are so beautiful! Watkins Glen, Letchworth, Buttermilk Falls are some of the most beautiful waterfall areas but there are so many!

Thank you so much! No permits to the floor yet, I would guess it will be next year before that happens. And just last week they started limiting access to the bridge as well to control the crowds.

Ahh Yes unfortunately no drones allowed in this state park. I flew mine down the road outside the park, but would have loved to get over the gorge.
