The first map is actually amazing it’s divided between ethnic minorities and it just makes allot of sense too if not for the british this would actually be nice

I'm not offended, just bewildered. The map looks amazing, but isn't divided between period ethnic groups at all, hell they use the American 1840s politicized definition of white, but also somehow have Hispanic as a race and no mention of mixed race at all;
before the revolution there very much was a divide between the different Europeans: British, Scots, Scots-Irish, French (Magically the Quebecois came to the decision that the 1842 Webster-Ashburton treaty was their boarders despite being a majority in parts of Vermont and Maine), German (That can be another rabbit hole), Dutch. British was a slim majority of the "whites" in America.
This is a very modern map that uses at lot of modern definitions and modern groups as inspiration without really looking at the history or the effects the war would have on the non-British powers. Tell me Prussia wouldn't have wanted some of the coal in the German speaking areas of Pennsylvania. How did the British, committed to holding and expanding in North America, maintain control on its much more lucrative and unstable holdings in South Asia?
That is where this map starts to suck.
