Well, the Temperatures are a bit high. Everything else seems legit. Stay at Home orders during a Heatwave may sound reasonable at the beginning but it may prove deadly when the Heatwave last more than a few Days. Homes heat up as well. People inside sweat, which raises the Humidity and Dew Point. It will be difficult for the Body to cool down by sweating. For older People and the ill, this may be deadly. It was not nearly 100 years later than other European powers started to build their tiny humble empires compared to the Iberian peninsula and It was not even until the Industrial Revolution that someone would have such an extent overseas territory compared to for example Spain (UK) and even then, they didn't really long that much at their height of relative power compared to the Iberian nations. The British never really "colonized" Guyana or South America im general. They occupied and took over all the Dutch colonies during the Napoleonic Wars. They occupied alot of Dutch colonies worldwide during this period. They were formally given the 2 additional provinces next to their South American outpost which eventually became British Guyana in 1814.

    - Win Ph-American War (America gets distracted in WWI)
    - Germany, Japan, Britain gets knocked out of their commitment in SE Asia
    - Sadly, a united Philippine archipelago would be impossible.
