Delhi metro achievements are manyfold. But we cant deny the fact that after phase 3, the construction of new metro corridors under phase 4 has slowed down. Plus three corridors of phase 4 are not yet approved.
Well I think, it was E. Shreedharan who deserves the crown for the development of Delhi Metro. After all, there's a reason why he is known as the Metro Man of India.

What an insightful interview. Interesting to hear the background story of Delhi Metro and how it overcome the challenges of Kolkata Metro. The Chawri Bazaar story was quite fascinating. And truly, if you ever visit that station (I did once), the moment you will come out of the station, the only thing that will struck your mind is - How the hell they made a metro station in this place ?

Well Delhi metro has got legendary connectivity! 😍 If you look at the second largest metro rail network in India which is in South India! Hyderabad it's saddest as it cannot be compared! Very less numbers of coaches in 3 lines in Hyderabad metro! 😂 But the marvelous Delhi metro is a legend 😍

The pink line green line interchange at punjabi bagh is an excellent example of covering this gap
